Forty-One: Laban

With Rosa's hand in my hand, we peacefully left the house. May kotseng nakaparada sa labas ng gate, binuksan nya ang passenger seat at pumasok saka ako sumunod at isinandal ang ulo ko sa balikat nya. Inakbayan nya ako at marahang hinalikan sa noo.

"You!"

Napabalikawas ako nang marealize ko kung sino ang driver namin.

"Stop the car!"

I yelled at mabilis namang huminto ang kotse. I immediately get off the car at binuksan ang driver's seat saka hinatak si Leslie palabas ng kotse.

"What the fuck Leslie!?"

I can see in her face that she's shaking. Not confused. I took my gun out at itinutok kay Leslie. Bigla syang napaluhod at nakataas ang dalawang kamay.

"Raine! Ano ba 'to!? W-why!? What? W-why do you have a gun!? Lorraine!"

Mabilis na lumapit sa amin si Rosa. Napatingin kaming dalawa ni Leslie sakanya.

"Ask her"

I said with an enraged voice habang nakatutok parin ang baril kay Leslie. Bumaling ang tingin ni Rosa kay Leslie, habang nakayuko ito.

"What? You think I wouldn't know!?"

Sumbat ko sakanya habang nananatili itong nakayuko.

"Leslie? Anong sinasabi ni Raine?"

Leslie has had enough. She finally looked up to us at huminga ng malalim. We have enough moonlight, shining upon us to see everyone's reaction. Her tears are starting to fall down.

"Yeah!? So why did you choose to keep working for those pigs!?"

I screamed at her. Rosa is left speechless.

"I-I tried to resign, but they said they will pin everything to me kapag umalis ako at nag ingay."

I laughed. The rain suddenly started to pour. Leslie is still on her knees, Rosa is still meters away from us.

"Then why didn't you even tell me!? Why didn't you show up! You knew I was in prison Leslie!"

I continued to scream. The sound of the rain makes me more outrageous.

"I can't! How do you expect me to see you!? Knowing I was part of it!? Wala akong mukhang maiharap sa'yo Raine! I'm sorry! I asked them to move me away from here! Dahil sa guilt na nararamdaman ko! I'm really really sorry Raine! I never intended to betray you! Sana alam mo yan!"

Sagot nya habang nakayuko parin, pero ngayon ay nakatukod na sa lupa ang mga kamay nya.

"I NEEDED BOTH OF YOU!!!"

I screamed at them.

"I NEEDED YOU! ROSA! I NEEDED YOU THAT TIME!"
