I want you too.

He wants me. Right then and there, I felt my entire body melt into nothing more than a puddle, reflecting his want for me.

"Kiss me," I almost command. Adrian's hands hold the back of my neck and pull me closer towards only for us to be interrupted by a knock on the window.

"We'll be late, boss."

Adrian makes a noise at the back of his throat.

I scowl and resist the urge to call them all cockblockers, but I do tuck a loose strand of hair that escaped from my ponytail with my middle finger in front of the man. The man looks at me, and almost sneers, but pulls himself together and walks away.

Adrian opens the door and steps out of the car, and I follow after him. This time, he doesn't tell me to stop. In fact, he doesn't tell me anything at all.

Let's just hope he's not hard during a business deal thing.

We walk towards a girl dressed in a sleek silver dress, her platinum blonde hair neatly made into a braid. She looked like she was actual silver. Damn, I could only dream of having a body or hair like that. Why is everybody hot but me?!

She holds out her hand to Adrian and I expect them to shake hands but Adrian just takes a box from one of his men and hands it to her. Then he extends his hand, and she hands him a grocery bag. Well, damn.

Did Adrian just trade millions of dollars worth of weapons for groceries? He must be desperate. And the worst part was that the bag looked empty!

How could Adrian be this dense?! After a solemn not at each other, the girl walks away, and Adrian walks towards me. "Let's go."

"Adrian, you dumbass! She just gave you a grocery bag!" I shout at him.

"Get in the car," He orders, and I give him an incredulous look. I climb into the the car, nonetheless. He pulls out a piece of paper and holds it out to me. "Read what it says."

"It's an address."

"Yeah, what does it say?"

I read the address out loud and he nods. "Give the piece of paper to my men in the black car." I roll down my window, and see the black car. I extend my hand out and one of the three men in there takes the paper out of my hand.

He gives me a slight nod and drives off. "Now we follow them."

"Aren't you supposed to lead them?"

"Their job is to memorize these roads. If we use a GPS, we can be tracked better, and that's not good. Oh, and also, switch off your phone."

"I left it back home."

"That's even better."

"So, are we going to talk about what happened before your men cockblocked us?" I ask. Wow, I'm getting a little too bold.

"Later."

Twenty minutes later, we pull up into a random parking lot. "Um... she gave us an address to a parking lot?"

"No, we're walking from here."

"Damn, okay," I grumble, getting out of the car once more. I follow after them, into an abandoned building. I would say that I'm scared, but I don't scared of shady, abandoned buildings.
