I open my eyes
And it feels like
It's midnight
And I'm all alone
But only when
Looking back
Do I realise
It's not as dark
As it has been
It's not yet day
But rays of sunlight
Are creeping in
Through the dark
I can't touch them
So far out of reach
But light is coming
And it's coming
