I see you smiling
Reaching out and
Holding their hands
Pulling them close
Never letting go
I see you talking
Your eyes twinkling
Laughing and not
Being able to breathe
But it's not with me
I see you playing
Games, having fun
Trying to win and
Laughing when you
In the end finally do
I see you together
With them and I can't
Stop thinking that I'm
Not longer one of them
What happened then?
I see you sitting
Always smiling
And it's hard to know
That my smile faded
A long time ago
