"Cam hurry up before we be late on the first day" Kay complained because I was going lashes. I paused then looked at him up and down then continued what I was doing.
"Either you sit down and wait or catch a ride with somebody else cause I'm finna do my lashes" I told him as I put my left lash on. He huffed then sat on my beanbag chair.

"Hello" I said when I answered Mir face time then got prepared to put my other lash on.
"Where you at it's the first day and you already finna be late" I heard him say. I looked at the phone and the the background had a lot of folks so I figured he was at school.
"Calm yuh tits I'm finna leave right now" I lied looking into my vanity and started putting on my last lash.
"She fucking lieing she don't even got ha shoes on" I heard Kayden complain a-fucking-gain I rolled my eyes.
"Go gets my forces out the closet for me then we can leave" I told him. He got up and walked over to my closet. I set the phone up properly so Mir can see me.
"How do I look" I asked him. He looked at the phone hard as hell.
"You look good, but why did you get a new hairstyle just for school" he asked then Kayden handed me my shoes.
"Because I am a Instagram influencer. In order for me to get paid I have to stay slayed" I explained while putting on my shoes.
"Mmhmm well I'm finna go I'll see you when you get here" he said then hung up.
"Alright I'm ready to go" I told Kayden. I grabbed my charger, some gum, my air pods, lip gloss, and a Kleenex packet then put in my bag. I grabbed my wristlet then went downstairs with Kay behind me.
"You wanna stop by McDonald's before we go to school" I asked him as I grabbed my lanyard off the kitchen counter.
"Yeah" he said then we went outside but not before cutting all the lights off and locking the door.
I unlocked my car door then we got inside. When we got situated and stuff I started the car and pulled off with Right My wrongs by Bryson Tiller playing from my speakers.
"You nervous about starting a new school" Kay asked me. I looked at him in confusion then looked back at the road.
"No not really I mean we already know people so there's nothing to be nervous about" I explained to him then pulled up behind a car in the McDonald's drive through.
