I was in the woods this morning going for a run. Ever since me turning into a coyote, I have the urge to run all the time. I love running, like don’t get me wrong but it was a little too much that I have an urge to do so. I had Caiden meet me after the run to grab some coffee so I can see how he is doing. I told Ryder that I and Caiden are hanging out becoming closer friends. He was alright with it but you could see in his eyes he gets jealous all the time. But he trust me to not do nothing and I would never, ever cheat on him. Nor anyone in that matter. I never cheated before, nor cheated on test or school work. Cheating is bad so I never did it. Every time I hang with Ryder he asks me about Caiden and I. Like how many time I got to tell him that nothing is going to happen. He gets way too jealous but I guess that is his wolf coming out and taking over. I love Ryder more than anything. Well yeah I love him more than anything because he took my virginity, but the way I feel for him and the way he feels for me is more than anything we felt. I walked into town walking into the café. I quit my last job I had which was at the pizza place. The manager was so rude. Ruder then Nicki Minaj’s rainbow hair. I love the café, maybe I should try to get a job here. At least the manager is nice. “Hey are you guys hiring?” I asked after ordering my double expresso with skim. “We are.” The manager responds from behind me. “Do you mind if I have an application?” I asked her smiling. “Well, considering that I know you pretty well Xavier, We will give you a try out right now.” She responds smiling. “OH MY God! Are you serious Faye?” I said in excitement. She nodded. “Yeah, get behind that counter and let me see what you got for an hour and I will decide from there.” She says handing me an apron. I smiled hugely and walked behind the counter. The cashier went into the back unpacking boxes for an hour. The manager showed me how to work everything and went across the café watching me. “What can I get you?” I asked when a girl moved forward in the line. “Espresso with skim please.” She smiles. I nodded and went straight to the machine. “Here you go. Have a nice day.” I respond and she hands me the money. That was easy. The line started getting bigger and I worked faster. But it didn’t stop me. This was so easy. I love this job already. “What can I get you?” I asked. I looked up and Ryder smiled at me. “Hey babe.” I smiled back. “You are working here now?” Ryder asked. “The manager is trying me out. So hopefully she will let me.” I responded. “Where is Caiden?” Ryder asked confusedly. “He is on his way. He told me he was running late. Do you want to join us? I have five minutes left.” I asked him. “No thanks. I am actually going to meet with Callum but I’ll see you later.” He said and gave me a kiss. “Bye.” I waved him off. “You did great! You start Monday!” She says and the girl walks back from the back. I smiled and sat down on the couch waiting for Caiden. Looks like I have a job now! I smiled at myself. Caiden walks in smiling and sat in front of me. “Sorry I am late.” He apologized. “Guess who got a job here?” I smiled big at him. “A coffee shop? Really? I could have gotten you a better job with better pay.” Caiden informed me. “I like it here. It fits me.” I point out. “True.” He smiled at me. “So how is everything at home?” I asked worried. “It’s good… I guess… I mean he still makes me hurt innocent people but sometimes I think of what I would be like to not do it. I grew up doing this. I couldn’t see me doing anything else. I mean I could but it is hard to see that. I just want to be normal like everyone else. But my father is stopping me from doing so. I want to leave but he will find me where ever I go. Even if it is five thousand miles from here. He knows my every move.” “Kill him and run then.” “Please if only that was possible. If my mom was living and she knew he did this to me, he would have already been dead.” “I don’t want you to get hurt. Your father is going to end up hurting you very badly and no one is going to be there to stop him.” “Xavier, quit worry about me. I have been dealing with this for years and years. I am going to be fine.” “Caiden, I am going to keep worrying until the day you leave from him.” I said sarcastically. He rolled his eyes and leaned back onto the couch. “Oh be here after school Monday. Come right away and your shift will start then.” Faye informs me. I nodded and smiled. I and Faye met each other at a book store in Seattle. She told me she was moving here and opening a café up. Brilliant idea of course. Faye looked a lot like Bay actually. Like so much alike. Same hair color, same face, eyes, etc. If only they were actual twins. That is how much they look alike. Shay comes walking in with Logan and Sutton laughing. “XAVIER!” Shay yelled running over to me. “Hey girl!” I said catching her into my arms. “Ok that girl looked a lot like Bay.” Sutton and Logan said at the same time. “I know right? But I that is the manager and owner of course. Her name is Faye and she just gave me a job here.” I said excitedly. “Oh my god amazing!” Shay said sarcastically. “Ok bitch. Guys you all know Caiden.” I greeted them. “He is even cuter in person then he was on footage.” Sutton and Shay agreed together. “Footage?” Caiden asked confusedly. “That night of the ball, I had contacts in that had a camera on them.” I informed Caiden. “I knew they were contacts but I did not know they were cameras also.” Caiden shrugged like he didn’t care. We all started laughing and talking about stupid things about high school. And all the stupid things we have done in life. Then Jayden and Rene walk in. Jayden Glances towards me and stares blankly at Caiden. OH MY GOD! THAT IS HIS MATE! Ryder did the same thing to me when we first laid eyes on each other. He stared at me blankly. Just like Jayden is doing to Caiden. “Hey guys!” Rene comes walking over sitting on my lap. “Who is that?” Jayden and Rene asked looking at Caiden. “That is Caiden.” I smiled. Jayden and Caiden begin to stare at each other. This reminds me a lot about my past. I giggled in my head. Rene bent over whispering into my ear. “I think Jay just found his mate.” I looked at her and smiled. “Hey Jayden, this is Caiden. Caiden, Jayden.” I greeted them two once again. “Hi.” Caiden said still staring at Jayden. “Hey.” Jayden responded nervously. “How long you guys going to stare at each other?” Asked Sutton being all bitchy like. “What sorry?” Jayden said catching back up to reality. We all started to laugh. “Jayden, Calm down and sit down.” Rene says to him and he nods. My phone vibrates and I see that my mom has texted. “Come home, need to talk ASAP.” Oh god. Need to talk? This can’t be any good. “I got to go guys. See you later.” I said and ran all the way home. I opened the door and hollered for my mom. “Mom! You home?” I shouted. “In the kitchen!” She shouted. I walked into the kitchen and seen my sister and my mom talking. “What’s going on?” I asked confused. “Sit down.” She demands and I nodded. I sat down at the island waiting for her to talk. “I just got a job to be head nurse in Los Angeles…. And I accepted.” She informs. My jaw drops. What the hell?! I cannot leave. Is she crazy?! “Now I know it’s going to be a big transformation moving down there. But Xavier you still can visit Ryder and he can visit you. It’s just to finish off the school year and if you want you can move back here after high school.” She informs me once again. “Mom…. I can’t go.” I said and tears began to fall from my face. “Alena is going to go to college at UCLA, and you are coming also. We are moving next Friday. You have one whole week to spend the most time with your friends and your boyfriend. You will make new friends. Don’t worry.” She says wiping the tears off of my cheeks. I slap her hand away and ran out the door. I can’t believe she thinks that I am going to leave. I like it here and my boyfriend is here. MY MATE IS HERE! Does she know what that will do to him? And me?! I run over to Ryder’s house and see his car still here. I open the door with my spare key and run up to his bedroom. “What’s wrong?” Ryder asks worried and Callum turns to look at me. “I am moving.”
