"Wait... so you can just write anything and it'll happen instantly?" Ochako asks. Mina is still looking at me in awe. "Well, there's some limits to my quirk, but I haven't figured it all out yet. All I know is that I can't wish harm on anyone, or otherwise cause them harm or death, and I can't change someone's emotions or actions. Also, depending on what I do, I have to wait between 10 minutes to an hour to be able to write a new thing. Something like a mere hair change will only take about 10 minutes to recharge, though."
I still remember the first time I figured that out. We were writing our wishlists and me, being a simple 6 year old kid, wrote, "I wish I had a new TV." When I realized that my wish had come true, right in front of my eyes, I told my mom right away. It was hard to figure the quirk out, and it sucked because I was always eager to know the limits so I could try to help everyone, my mom especially.
Uraraka smiles at me, and I can almost see a lightbulb go off in her head. "You'd love some of the people from my high school! I know all of them transferred here, so hopefully we'll see them around today!" I feel a light blush heat my cheeks, feeling amazed that someone actually thinks I'm that cool. "Yeah, if they're like you guys, I'm sure we'll get along great!" I smile nervously. Mina lets out a giggle. "The guys I hang out with are a little more... intimidating. Not many people would usually turn their attention towards us, but we're a fun crowd!" This leaves me with a bit of an intrigue. Why wouldn't people like them? Can they really seem that intimidating? Mina herself is so nice, can the guys she hangs out with be much different?
"Next stop: UA Courtyard"
"Ah man, first day of college at the esteemed UA! I'm so excited!" Mina laughs. Uraraka gives a faint smile. "What's your first class?" She asks me. I pull out the folded schedule paper from my pocket and read, "I have Biology in room S03. What about you?" "We have Biology too! I'm pretty sure they have all us first years taking it to understand the body and where different quirks appear in different bodies, and how to tell." I didn't even realize that they would include quirk information in that class. I'm sure that class will completely bury me with homework. Suddenly, the bus slows to a stop.
