Chapter 11: Leaving

"WHAT?!," I yelled. The fox from the legend is evil! I didn't want anything to do with it. He gave out a long sigh. "I'm sorry... We didn't want any of this. Your the fox from the story. I'm the bird. Amber's the wolf, Dark's the cat, and Lights the dog," Claw finished. I sat down and put my arm around my legs.

I wasn't sure how to except this but all I know is I didn't feel the same. I put my head In-between my legs and just sat there. I killed Amber, I thought. But then I remembered something. What Fox had shown me. Amber or I guess Wolf was killed by a rock slide not me or Fox. I sighed with relief.

"Hey you two! We're going to find out where we're going. Hurry up," Amber shouted from the cave entrance. Claw looked at me and touched my shoulder. "Your not like Fox don't worry," he said as he waited for me to get up. I picked myself up and brushed off any dirt I had on me as we headed inside.

Amber, Dark, and Light where around a large map that we kept here incase we ever had to leave. "Ok so here we are," Light pointed at a little dot that said 'Atlis mountain. I sat down next to Amber and Claw sat next to me. Dark was on the other side of Amber by the way.

"I say we head here," Light said pointing at another dot that was really far from here. I looked closer to it and it had the words 'Elm town' written under it. I looked at him confused. "Erm.... Isn't that a little far away," I said looking at the distance. He sighed. "Thanks for pointing out the-" I cut him off. "Anyway," I said annoyingly.

He snarled at me. "We can stop at Con city as a half way pointed," he said. We all stared at him. "Are you insane! A city means a crap ton of people! And a damn crap ton of people means the more people to find out about us," Dark hissed. I nodded in agreement. Last time we went to a city we nearly got exsposed like 10 different times.

"I know, I know but we really have no other options. I mean there are other towns we can go to but there aren't any forests or things like that around that we can stay in till we come back," he finished. I looked back to the map. He was right. No other forests around a town except for that one. Claw sighed.

"All in favor say 'I'," he said. We girls looked at each other. "I," Dark said not wanting to be last again. "I," Amber said. "Us too," Light said for him and Claw. "Fine," I growled. Light clapped his hands together. "Ok so we leave when the moon is at its peak," he said we all nodded.
