Hindi ko siya mahanap sa buong Sighisoara. I bet she flee from here and escape.

Photos of her spread around the town like wildfire. Dahil doon, iyon ang nagtulak sa akin na umalis sa Sighisoara at hanapin siya sa kung saan man siya nagpunta.

I called my cousin, Thindrel, and inform him of my arrival. He said he's on the moves to find clues about Claudette.

I was fine with it. Pero hindi ako mapapanatag. He likes her. My cousin probably likes Claudette just by looking at her pictures. Hindi ko alam kung bakit ako nakaramdam ng kakaiba sa aking dibdib.

Am I jealous? There's no way in hell I'll be.

I sprinted out from the Sighisoara. I left my car inside the town, sa bahay nila Uncle Niklaus sa Sighisoara.

I ran towards the forest. I have a feeling that she's here. Dito sila dumaan dahil tumakas lamang sila.

I heard screams pero paikot-ikot na ako sa gubat ngunit wala akong makita. It took me hours to roam around the forest until the screams become more clearer and nearer.

I sprinted my way towards that direction at naabutan ko ang isang lalaki na hinaharangan ang isang grupo ng mga lalaki at babae.

Their skin is painted with tattoos. Dark and different shapes. Hindi ko mawari kung ano iyon kaya kumunot ang noo ko.

"NO! LET ME GO! KIERAN!", sigaw ng isang babae kaya napalingon ako sa kung saan nanggaling ang boses.

There, my cousin Thindrel was holding Claudette in his arms. Tight and firm while she's going crazy and wanting to get away from his hold.

Mabilis ang naging galaw ko. I slayed the hunters one by one ngunit hindi ko pa maubos ay bumagsak na lupa ang lalaking tinatawag ni Claudette.

"KIERAN!", buong pusong sigaw ni Claudette at pareho sila ni Thindrel na bumagsak sa putik.

Dahil sa galit ko ay hinayaan kong lumabas ng madilim na bahagi sa aking pagkatao. I'm a hybrid. I let my wolf overtake my body.

I won't let it happen again. I won't let them kill her. Hindi ako makakapayag. Charlotte was already taken away from me. There's no way I'll let Claudette go too. I'll do everything for her the things I haven't done with Charlotte.

I shifted into my wolf form and attack the hunters mercilessly.

May iilang bala at arrows na tumama sa akin pero hindi ko iyon ininda. I bit off their necks and rip their heads off. I cast magic on me but it didn't work.

Pagod ako pagkatapos. I feel like my strength is drained. Mahina akong bumagsak sa lupa at bumalik sa tunay na anyo.

My eyes glowed with gold and my nails are still long. Nilingon ko ang nanghihinang Claudette na dahan-dahang gumapang papunta sa kanyang kaibigan.

She sob and pick his head up. Isiniksik niya ito sa kanyang leeg and buong pusong umiyak.

"Kieran! Please, wake up!", aniya sa lalaking nakahiga sa hita niya at tinapik ang pisngi. "Please, wake up. I already forgive you for betraying me. Please, let's connect the bond again. I'm your beloved now", she cried.

With that word. Pain strike me. Thousands of knife stabs my heart a million times and I bleed over and over again. What the heck? Why am I hurt?

Do we love her?

My wolf thought. I ignored it.

"Kieran! Please, wake up. You told me you won't leave me again", patuloy pa rin siyang umiiyak.

Thindrel walk towards her with a thick jacket on his hand.

"Thindrel", banta ko sa pinsan ngunit tiningnan niya lang ako at binalot si Claudette ng jacket na hawak niya.

"Lets go home. Your friend is dead", sabi nito.

Umiling si Claudette at hindi nagsalita.

"I'm here to help. I'm not an enemy. I know why you're here and I can help you with that".

Kaagad na napalingon si Claudette sa kanya at nagkatitigan sila sandali.

"Thindrel", sabi ko at dahan-dahang naglakad papalapit sa kanila.

I know she heard me. She turn her head towards me. Pilit kong ngumiti ng makalapit. I don't know how to react. I know I hurt her and I want to apologize but I don't know where to start.

She didn't smile back. She turn to Thindrel Immediately and locked her eyes on him.

"I can help you and I promise you that. Lets go before another group of hunters will come and hunt you down", sabi ni Thindrel.

"Your life is in danger, Claudette. Original vampire's enemy will come and look for you", sabi ko at nagbabakasakaling lilingon siya sa akin ngunit hindi niya ginawa.

She nodded while looking at Thindrel. Nag angat naman ng tingin ang pinsan ko sa akin bago tinulongan si Claudette na tumayo.

"Ako na, Thindrel", sabi ko at hinayaan naman ako ni Thindrel na hawakan si Claudette pero umiwas siya sa akin.

Tinampal niya ang kamay kong pilit na humawak sa kanyang beywang. She didn't even look at me. Isang beses lang iyon kanina.

I know the reason why and I regret it.

Thindrel contacted someone from his phone at may sasakyan na pumarada sa harapan namin pagkadating namin sa labas ng gubat.

"Where's your car, Dwayne?", tanong ni Thindrel sa akin.

"I left it at Uncle Niklaus's mansion", sagot ko at nilingon si Claudette na nakasunod lang sa amin at tahimik. Nasa paligid lang ang kanyang mga mata.

"How did you get here?", he asked again.

"I ran", maikling sagot ko at hindi inalis ang tingin sa kay Claudette.

Tumango naman siya sa akin.

"How did you find that they're here?", I asked him when the silence started to life.

Nilingon niya ako. "It just happened that I'm here. I heard her screaming so I came to rescue", aniya sabay ngisi sa akin. "You hoped that you'll get here first, huh?".

Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin ng bumaling ako sa kanya. "I came from Sighisoara to find clues, Thindrel that's why I got here late".

Nagtaas siya ng kilay sa akin at bumaling sa kay Claudette.

"Get on the first car. Me and my cousin Dwayne will get on the other one", sabi ng pinsan ko.

"I'll go with her--", sabi ko at kaagad na pinutol ni Claudette.

"I can ride alone. Thanks, Thindrel", she said to my cousin like they're very close already.

Umawang ang labi ko ngunit tumawa lang ang pinsan ko na parang tuwang-tuwa sa reaksyon ko.

"Karma, lets go", he pull me and push me inside his car.
