The hours passed by and both Katie and Y/n never wanted their day to end. It was fun that they were able to forget everything even just for a little while... all that mattered at the moment was the two of them, and no doubt their shared memories for the passed few days would stay forever in their hearts. 

Going back to the younger girl's apartment y/n have decided that she  has to tell Katie the truth about how she really feels for the green eyed girl... she needed to be truly honest with herself, with just a few weeks left before she gets married to Lucas.

Both girls headed towards the kitchen to prepare a light snack before their food deliveries come.

"You really looked beautiful in that dress y/n. As if it was really made for you." Katie complemented y/n, resting her hand on the young girl's waist.

Y/n couldn't help but blush. She knows she couldn't contain her feelings for Katie any longer. She wanted to be close to her more than ever... for their bodies to intertwine. Smiling at Katie's words, all she could get out of her mouth is a small "thank you" as she proceeds to take the older girl's hand in hers.

As their faces are only a few centimeters away from each other, both girls couldn't help but stare at each other's lips. Everything feels right at the moment... there were no troubles, nor worries. No Lucas, nor family members pestering them about the upcoming wedding. There were only the two of them lost at one of their little moments just staring... wanting to taste each other's lips.

"Katie... I--" before the young architect could even beggin to form her sentence, she was immediately cut short by a loud knock at her front door.

Of course the food's gonna come and ruin the moment right before she could her Katie that she's in love with her.

Sighing in disappointment,  Y/n gently dropped Katie's hand, giving her a light smile before heading towards the door.

Opening it the young girl was surprised to see her fiancé smiling in front of her with a boquet of red roses in his hands. His first reaction seeing the girl is to hug her tight and kiss her on the lips.

"I missed you!" Lucas said happy that he finally get to be with his fiancé after a month abroad.

Katie saw the whole ordeal... she saw how Lucas kissed y/n on the lips and it broke her heart not being able to do anything about it.

This is her nightmare and it just came to life. Lucas came home without a warning and she was not able to get the girl on time. She knew for a fact that y/n was going to tell her something that's going to completely change both of their lives, she felt it... but with Lucas now back in the picture, she knows whatever y/n's going to say back at the kitchen will never see the light of day again.

Replacing her shocked expression with a friendly smile, Katie hid the pain that she felt when she you the two of you kissed.

She made herself known immediately excusing her self out of your apartment to go home.

"Let's continue our movie night some other time y/n. I'll get a move on so you two love birds can catch up." Katie almost couldn't finished her sentence, the pain that she was feeling was too much to handle. She gave the couple a quick smile before reaching for her handbag and rush out of the apartment.

With her back now facing the couple, she let her tears run freely down her face as she knew her little taste of paradise with y/n is now over.

Y/n was about to stop Katie but then Lucas interrupted her.

"I'm sorry I wasn't able to go home on time. Believe me I begged my boss not to extend our stay be he could only do little by helping me go back home earlier than our colleagues." Lucas couldn't care less about Katie's sudden departure. No one knew but he never really liked the girl as he never really like the idea of being a homosexual. He just couldn't say anything as y/n was already friends with Katie long before they became a couple.

"It's fine, Lucas. You're here now." Y/n quietly said disappointment almost evident in her face, but as usual the young businessman never bothered to notice.

"I'll make it up to you I've already promise you that. That's why I've already made a few calls... since you finished all the wedding planning. I was thinking if we could have our engagement party this Saturday night, what do you say?" Lucas suggested waiting for his fiancé's reply.

Pretending to have your full at him you nod at his plans not realizing that you agreed on an engagement party you dreadfully wanted to avoid having.

You were too busy thinking about Katie, you wanted to explain... as if you've been caught cheating on her with Lucas but deep inside you knew there's no explanation that needs to be done. In everyone's eyes, she was your loving bestfriend and you are the beautiful fiancé of an wealthy and young businessman.

In a snap she was  brought back to reality. Everything dawned upon the young girl, her wedding day is in a few weeks and her little paradise with the person whom she truly love is now over.
