Darnell said he'll come see me the second he's landed but my eyes and ears say that he's been home from Germany for a solid week now. How many times do I have to explain to him that what happened with me was completely out of anyones control let alone mine? I don't know what's going through his mind for him to ignore and avoid me as if we were never even friends to begin with, whatever it is I can't force anything out of him until he's ready to talk to me, whenever that is...

Right now, I've got more important things to worry about. Ever since I was gone, my cheer team had been in shambles and I mean SHAMBLES! These girls with their drama with stupid high school boys whose balls probably haven't even dropped yet, my co captain really tried her best to keep it together and I know that it takes A LOT to handle all of these girls, a big round of applause to her but I think she's ready for me to come back.

"What are you doing in my house? At..... 8:30 in the morning? Don't you have like... school or something? Football stuff in the morning?" I looked up, locking the door behind me as Jordan watched me without any words coming out of his mouth, this seemed really serious

I swiftly turned around, tapping my keys on my palm and a worried smile on my face "Uh, Jordan?" I called

"Oh, yeah... I just wanted to see you before I went off to school, made sure you look like- you and you do" He struggled to find the words "I'm fine okay? It's not like I haven't listened to my doctors and the numerous people that forbade me to do so many things even a man can do with a broken leg. Go before you're late and your dad yells at you" He just stood there like a statue, having a hard time believing, not me, but my body because with the recent events, she showed us how untrustworthy she was

"How about I update you every couple of hours? Like once every three hours?" He nodded, felt more comfortable "That's basically before and after school ends , two hours, for my sanity" He looked deep into my eyes, instead of doing puppy dog eyes he just stares at me waiting for me to give him an answer, the only one he'll ever accept. "Okay, whatever, now go, you're so far from school Jordan" I pushed him back

He laughed as we moved backward "Let me hear you say it, you don't break your word"

"Ugh, Jordan!" I groaned, my head on his chest chuckling at how annoying he's being right now "come on" He spoke

I laughed, sighing loudly, followed by my eyes rolling to the back of my head that he showed offense to "I will update you every two hours today, okay? Now come on before you make me late" We hugged but I'm pretty sure the energy felt like he wanted to kiss me, I'm just probably being weird and hallucinating things

By the time it was lunch, people continued to stare, normally I wouldn't be bothered by it but they're making me feel like a zoo animal. "Let me just say something, PLEASE" Avyna begged, doing actual puppy dog eyes and pouting her lips "I know it bothers you as much as it does me" She confessed "No" she drew back but maybe  the answer is in my hands?

"What in the hell are you guys staring at?" Avyna couldn't help it, she was waddling around like a child who couldn't hold their pee in any longer

"Oh, Av-Avyna I think we should just-" I sighed, let out a deep breath and pulled her behind me "I had surgery because of a tumor so stop staring at me like I have the fucking plague! If you wanna stare, you better be staring at my ass because it sure as hell bigger than your futures, what is this Gossip Girl in real life?" I paused, everyone was staring at me, wide eyed
