I'm laying here next to Dave and I swear today feels like a new day for us we not going to stress off of anything today we just going to focus on us.

"Babe stop staring at me." He said hugging me while I laid on his chest.

"I can't help it your just so sexy."

He took a peek at me and kissed my forehead.

"Baby girl got to sleep love."

"I can't I'm getting to sit on the balcony."

He nodded I got up and made me some coffee did my hygiene and say on one of the chairs that out looked the ocean. I couldn't describe the feeling I had in the pit of my stomach I've battled with depression before but this is hitting different I miss my parents deeply and it sadness me that they couldn't see me get married I could just imagine what my mom what say.

I'm  standing there in my beautiful wedding gown waiting on the time to come to marry Dave mom and dad are so happy I smiled at the thought then my mom walks in.

"Oh my goodness babygirl you look fantastic! She said.

"Don't I though." I said doing a twirl.

We laughed together.

"Babe girl have a seat." She said.

"Oh lord what I do know the last time you told me to have a seat my favorite show got cancelled."

She laughed.

"No no nothing like that I just wanted to see how you are feeling about getting married?" She asked.

"Nervous, scared, afraid all the emotions you can think of." I said wiping my tears.

"Why are you feeling this way baby?" She asked.

"I don't want a failed marriage what if..."

"No there is no what if baby girl if you and Dave are truly met to be together you guys will stay together. As a matter of fact I know y'all will." She said.

"How do you know that mom?"

"The way he looks at you there's a fire that burns inside of him for you I don't think that will ever go away that man is in love with you honey let me tell you and the way he speaks about you when you not in the room the way he treats you girl do you really need me to keep going?" She said.

I laughed because only she could make me feel so much better.

"He really is an amazing man and I'm so lucky to have him."

"Yes but he's also lucky to have you know I'm not saying y'all won't go through things every couple does it's up to you for you guys to fix it and make sure y'all love stays strong through the test of time."

"Your right mommy thank you!" I said hugging her.

How do I miss those hugs.

"Now I got one more peace of advice for you before you daddy come bringing his big foot ass on in here." She said.

I laughed.

"What's that mama?"

"Life is like a disco no matter how fast the music plays you just keep dancing."

"Thanks mommy."
