I'm just sitting in this hotel room thinking about me and Dave. I'm just hurt like why do you think not talking to me for a whole ass month is okay? What logic is he on we use to talk about everything hell we barley even really argued. Maybe I did over react but if i would have did that shit to him so help me I would never hear then end of it. Me and Dave will have our talk but I just wanna be left alone with my fried chicken, cajan pasta and oxtails. I turned my phone off because I really didn't want nobody bothering me but I got a feeling I'm going to get rudely interrupted. So I ate my food and passed out I ain't dealing with this shit today.

Dave's pov
I haven't seen or heard from jazz in three days now she got me concerned and nobody knows where she is or who's she with. I was snapped out if my thoughts when Gio my business partner called.

"Speak."

"Aye dave my main man you coming or what? "He asked in his italian accent.

Fuck I forgot me and jazz had a meeting to by this hotel from him.

"Yeah man I'm on my way give me like 20 mins."

"Okay."

I hung up and went straight to the hotel I tried to call jazz but she didn't answer so I left her a quick voicemail and text. I pulled up to the hotel and walked in to see Gio waiting in the lobby.

"David! How are you my friend." He said.

"Been better man."

"Ahh I see and where is the beautiful jazz huh?" He asked.

"She not her right now."

"Oh is she coming?"

I shook my head no.

"Too bad maria was looking forward to seeing her well come let's hit the bar." He said.

"Man I ain't got to tell me choice."

We walked over to the bar and he pulled out the contract.

"So what do you think?" He asked.

"Looks good to me we will take it."

I signed on the doted line.

"Man it's going to feel good to retire I hope you and the Mrs have a live time off good memories in this place like I have."

I nodded not even focusing on the conversation.

"Ah Bella must have put you in the gig house yes?"

"Yes she has she wants a divorce."

"Whoa that's tuff but what happened for her to want that?" He asked.

"I don't wanna bother you with my problems gio."

" No go on and tell me I've been married for 40 years trust me I've been in the dog house more than once." He said chuckling.

I took a deep breath and told him everything.

"Now she won't even talk to me or let me  fix it."

He nodded drinking his scotch.

"Wow man you kind of dug your self into a hole there david but I think it will work out." He said.

"How you know?"

"Women have a tendency to change there minds especially for the right man." He said.

"You don't know my wife once she's made up her mind that's it."

"I thought the same thing about my wife once before it was over 30 years ago I had been out drinking all night a few nights actually never coming home on time I was avoiding her being very neglectful towards her then one night I came home with a big bouquet of roses because I decided I wanted to fix things with her make it right because I knew I was wrong but by the time I got there she left me with out a trace all I had was a note with her wedding ring sitting in the bed. I couldn't understand for the life of me understand why she left me like that but the way I treated her honestly I surprised she didn't leave sooner but the note she left me are words I'll never forget." He said.
