Invisibility

Invisibility

Our days have their ups

and downs

And we just hit so hard

on the ground,

The fall was hard,

We're both pained,

After that, I knew,

We would never be the same,

I was there

trying to pull us up,

But your hands slipped away

and told me to stop,

Still, I stood there

waiting for you to make up your mind,

But you remained where you are

as if frozen in time,

I didn't move, didn't leave,

But there's a wall between us,

A wall of invisibility,

Then I saw you took somebody's hand,

You rose to your feet,

Holding hands with another man,

You gripped his hand so tight

I cannot stand to see,

Does that mean you've chosen him

over me?

I called your name

but you failed to hear,

So I looked at you

until you both disappeared,

As I stood still

that's when I saw,

My own wounds bleeding

all of them were raw,

I froze

then I began to realize,

I've lost you ---

I've lost my life.

Note: Sorry. I promised that I'll post a poem that is way far from this. Pero kasi.. hindi ko mapigilan. Huhuhu. I should stop being so morbid. Hahaha. My guilt for killing my characters made me feel bad. ●︿●
