Waiting
Here I am waiting
to see the subtleness of your face,Not a sound of clock ticking,
But still nights turn to days,Someone told me
it's damn hard to wait,I just smiled and shook my head,
No I'm not moving out of this place,I won't go home,
Here is where I'll stay,I know you'll come back
like you've never been away,So I'll be waiting
waiting still,I know you're just somewhere
Maybe somewhere near,It may take you days
or countless years,I'm sure you'll find your way,
I know you'll find me here,On this frigid stone
where I sit alone,You'll see my name
Carved and old,Once again, I'll be seeing you,
The same girl I've fell in love with
decades ago,That's why I'm waiting
waiting still,Because one day you'll be coming back,
Sweetheart, I know you will.
