Safest Harm

I could get my heart broken,

Broken by you,

You are the only one allowed,

To break it, break it in two,

Its okay, you can tear it down,

‘Cause I know, you’ll stitch it back to life,

I could bear to get wounded,

Wounded by your words,

You are the only girl to tell me,

Things that softly hurts,

Its okay, you can cut me deep,

‘Cause I know, you’ll tell me you love me,

 enough to help me heal,

I could live with the pain,

If that’s what it takes,

To be with you,

You are more than who think you are,

‘Cause girl, you are,

You are my safest harm,

And let me be the one,

To tell you this,

That beyond the scars,

Between the hidden tears,

I’m just here, I’m just close,

So hold on and don’t let go,

Girl, I’ve died so many times,

But you’re the only one who always,

Always brought me back to life,

Now if you don’t know who you are,

Let me tell you dear,

you’re my safest kind of harm.
