You and Me
The sand on the seashore,
A wave from the sea,
They met like you and me,
A petal of a flower,
A leaf from a tree,
They fell like you and me,
The tweeting of the birds,
The buzzing of the bees,
They're happy, like you and me,
The footsteps of passer by's
The cars on the street,
They're muddled, like what things turned out to be,
The sand on the seashore,
A wave from the sea,
A petal of a flower,
A leaf from a tree,
These things meant to go on separate ways..
Just like..
You and me.
