 Recalling

Your pictures posted on the ceiling,

Photographs I took when you’re not looking,

The smell of your hair on my pillow set,

A smell I could always remember but never will I forget,

The human size teddy bear you always like to hug,

It made me little jealous but you told me I’m the only one you love,

The sound of your voice recorded on my phone,

Which I always play whenever I miss you in times that I’m alone,

The old letters you’ve delicately written just for me,

Rereading them all day makes me happy,

These, are all the portals that bring me back to the past,

When we were still happy and we thought our relationship would last,

Now, I’m scared I might forget but I ought not to,

Because these memories..

Are the things that lead me back to you.
