Barrel racing dream!

Chapter 17

I woke up to the sun beaming through the curtains. I looked up and noticed I was laying on Max's chest, I smiled. I got up and headed to the bathroom once I was done I went to the kitchen and made so blue berry and banana pancakes. I put them on the table along with two glasses of orange juice. I went back in my room and woke Max up.

"Max get up I made breakfast." I said shaking his shoulder.

"Yay." He laughed stretching.

"Hurry up." I laughed before heading back into the kitchen.

"Let's eat." I said as max entered the kitchen.

We quickly ate are food.

"That was delicious." Max said as he downed the rest of his juice.

"Thanks." I smiled before taking are plates and putting them in the sink.

"Now let's get dressed, go take care of the horses, then we can head down to the river." I smiled.

He nodded standing up.

I walked into my room picking out a pair blue jean shorts and a camo swim top. I put them on then put my hair into a high pony.

"Ready." I said.

I came out to see max in swimming trunks and no shirt.

Damn.

"Let's go get the horses took care of." I said slipping on a pair of boots.

I walk out of the house and towards the barn.

"Hey baby girl." I coo as I reach Gypsy's stall.

"I'll go get train out of the pasture." Max said before heading out.

"Come on girl." I say unlocking the stall, causing gypsy to get up.

I grab my groom box, and brush her down. Afterwards I fill her food and water buckets and close the stall.

"I'll take you out to walk a little in the arena tomorrow baby girl." I smile.

"Hey." Max said walking in.

"I filled up a bucket of feed for train." I smiled pointing to the red bucket by the door.

"Thanks." He smiled grabbing it and heading back outside.

I walked back over to the house and stuck my head in the door.

"King. Come on boy." I whistle. The now huge puppy comes running towards the door.

I walk over to max. I climbed over the wooden fence, into the pasture.

"Hey Max."
"Yeah."
"Race ya." I laugh before taking off through the field towards the river.

"NO FAIR CHEATER!" Max yells.

"THATS WHAT LOSERS SAY!" I yell back laughing.

I reach the river quickly ridding my boots. Right as I am about to jump in I feel a pair of arms lace around my stomach.

"No let me go!" I laugh kicking my legs.

"Nope." He laughs.

"I wanted to do it." He smirks.

"Do what?" I said my eyes growing wide.

"This." He smiles as he throws me into the water.

"Assbutt." I laugh as he jumps In.

I go under the water and swim up behind him. As he's looking for me I jump on to his back.

"Pay back." I laugh messing up his hair.

"You butthead." He laughed.

As he turned around I went back under the water.
