Chapter 16

We finally arrived to home. I turned my truck off jumping out.
"You can put train out in the field." I tell max who is unloading his horse.

He nodded before leading train to the gate. I unloaded gypsy and took her into the barn.

"You have to stay in here for a while girl." I said putting her in a stall, and feeding her a carrot.

"Ok. I'm gonna head inside." I tell Max.

"I'll go grab King out of the truck." Max said walking towards his truck.

"Ok." I say unlocking the door. and entering the house.

I went to the fridge and grabbed a beer and a bottle of water.

Max walked in the door.

"Here, catch." I said throwing the bottle of water at him.

"I remembered you said you don't drink." I smile before heading to the living room and plopping down on the couch. Max came over and sat down beside me.

"You know what I don't understand."

"What." Max answered.

"Why would you wanna come home with me, you love the rodeo why would you leave for me?" I ask.

"Because Rozzi I don't ever want you to be alone, gypsy means the world to you and with her hurt, I know you're hurt to." He said looking at me.

"I'll be okay." I said looking down at my beer bottle.

"I know you'll be fine, but that doesn't mean I can't be her to help you when you need it." He smiled.

"Thanks." I smiled hugging him.

"Anytime." He said wrapping his arms around me.

"Tomorrow, wanna go down to the river for a swim?" I ask him.

"Sure." He said standing up.

"Where are you going?" I ask.

"Home, I'm sure you want sometime by yourself." he said

"Actually I would rather not be alone right now." I said looking at my hands.

"I could stay if you'd like." He smiled.

"Please." I said looking up at him.

"Ok. " he smiled.

"Let's watch a movie." I smile.

We head to my room and plop down on the bed. I turn on cowgirls and angles.
