         I hope this finds you well. Due to the fans loving the Original Family, Michael and I have decided to make a spin-off show.

'The Originals' will be based on Klaus and Elijah's time in New Orleans as they try to regain control of the city.

It will carry on from the episode we shot in season 4 of The Vampire Diaries where the witches were conspiring against Klaus; and Hayley is pregnant.

Even though Elijah compelled your character to leave the Mikaelson family, she will still be in the show as well as being in some episodes of TVD.

There will be a meeting after the New Year with more information.
