I sit down next to Edward's sleeping figure, softly stretching my legs out in front of me as the mattress dips a bit due to my weight.

I smile gently at Edward, who was sleeping peacefully, his mouth opening just a tad bit to let out a small snore, his messy hair drape over the pillow beneath his head.

Too bad I'm about to wake him from his peaceful slumber.

Leaning down on one elbow for support, I used my fingers to run through his hair.

I caress his face with the tips of my fingers, smiling gently as he stirs a little. I laid my hand on his cheek, my thumb softly caressing his skin. His eyes flutter open sleepily, stirring a bit by my touch as he glances over at me.

"Hi," I say softly, still caressing him as my smile widens a little more.

"Hi." Edward grumbles quietly, blinking away the haze of sleepiness in his eyes.

"Do me a favor?" I ask him, smiling as he leans into my touch more, I didn't stop caressing his cheek with my thumb.

"What is it?" He whispers quietly, closing his eyes briefly.

"Go to the grocery store and get me eggs, flour and some Kisses. I'm making chocolate chip cookies." I say happily and he groans, before removing his face from my hand and burying it into the pillow.

"Why couldn't you get it yourself?" The pillow muffles his voice as I pursed my lips at him, before running my fingers up his bare back.

"Come on," I whine. "just those things is all I need! It's only like a ten minute walk! Please? And I am just too lazy to haul my ass out of El Palacio, you're young and would be quicker!" I say and he squirms as I ran my fingers up and down his back, a muffle laugh escaping him as I smile.

"Okay, jeez, I'll go get your things. Just give me five minutes," He says and lifts his head from the pillow to look over at me. I grin, leaning over and plopping a big kiss on his cheek.

"You're the best!" I say and ruffle his hair before standing up and walking out of his room, my sweats dragging against the floor as they hang low on my hips.

I slide down the swirly slide, laughing quietly to myself as I felt like a child. Standing up, I paddle my way back to the kitchen barefooted, reminding myself of the sweet tea I was currently making.

I pour myself a cup, glancing up as I watch Edward slide down the swirly slide, a small smile on his lips. He hops onto his feet as he gets to the end, looking over at me with a relax expression.

He was sporting black sweatpants, a knitted navy blue sweater and a grey beanie perch on top of his hair, some brown boots on his feet.

"Okay, I'm ready to go." He says and I hand him the money as he walks over to me.

"Here you go. Just the eggs, flour and Kisses alright? You got your phone and keys on you right?" I say and he nods, walking around me and to the entrance of the kitchen.

"Yep, I'll be back. See ya!" He says, giving me a wave before disappearing entirely behind the wall.

"Be careful!" I shout out to him, a little worry about him stepping out alone.

Maybe I should go with him, just in case if there's any danger that presence itself, I could protect him. I thought to myself, biting down on my lip as I heard the front door shut.

Nah, he's a big boy, nothing would happen to him, besides I don't think guys his age would want their moms to fight their own fights, they can protect themselves. I told myself, before sipping onto my tea, glancing at the clock.
