“Mikaela! Please! This is from TV4… Can you grant us an interview?”
“RPZ Network here! Mikaela! What can you say that you’re chosen to be part of a Hollywood movie?”
Reporters are just everywhere. Bodyguards are around her. Flashes of cameras here and there. It’s almost blinding her. Good thing she’s wearing her dark sunglasses… She just bowed her head and tried to keep mum about all of the questions…
MJ: Mikaela! Just a couple of minutes please?...
Bahagya siyang napahinto nang makita ito.
Mikay: I’ll grant an interview with MJ…
Bulong niya kay Mike. Tapos ay nagpatuloy na siyang pumasok sa van niya. She then saw MJ followed her inside. Pagkapasok nila ay tinanggal na agad niya ang sunglasses. Doon na lamang siya magpapainterview saglit bago sila pumunta sa next location ng taping nila…
MJ: Everyone's so intense out there, Mikaela!
Mikay: Sinabi mo pa…
MJ: Well, you can’t blame them… Hollywood movie ‘to and this is different ‘coz you’re personally handpicked by the director! Tell me how it all started, Mikaela…
Naisip muna niyang kumuha ng food sa snack box at kumain ng chocolates. Inalok din niya ito.
Mikay: Well, I found out from Seth that the director was actually looking for a specific Asian character for the movie. So, he convinced me to try it out. And you know, I really wanna go for an audition there. But Mike told me na pwede na daw ipadala thru email. So, that’s what I did. After a week, I got a call back and they told me that I was chosen.
MJ: Really?! Wow! So, ano ‘yung reaction mo nung sinabi sa ‘yo yun?
Mikay: Syempre, nagulat talaga ako kasi hindi naman talaga ako nag-expect….
MJ: Pero curious ako dun sa audition video mo, Mikaela… Ano exactly ang ginawa mo dun?
Mikay: Those are just basically compilations of my best scenes on different teleseryes and movies. I didn’t intentionally act for the auditon… Mga compilations lang talaga… And aside from my acting, I think they’re also very much into the way I look… That’s why they even asked for different pictures of me… Yung mga walang make-up, saka ‘yung glammed up din…
MJ: So like you said talagang may specific Asian look nga na hinahanap?
Mikay: Yeah… And of course, I feel very lucky and blessed kasi nga I was chosen…
MJ: So pano na ‘yung taping niyo ng Diwata? ‘Coz I’ve heard you’ll be leaving next week na…
Mikay: Uhm… Bale, postponed muna siya… at syempre nagpapasalamat nanaman ako sa ABS dahil pinayagan nila ako to pursue this another opportunity ‘di ba…
MJ: So kelan ulit magproproceed ng taping?
Mikay: Pagbalik na pagbalik ko din, sabak ulit sa taping… Mga one month lang naman ako sa New York eh… Bale 2weeks lang ‘yung shooting dun tapos yung another 2weeks, hiningi ko na lang din na bakasyon ko…
MJ: Well, Mikaela, we’re definitely looking forward to this Hollywood movie of yours. Sigurado akong isa nanaman itong achievement na maipagmamalaki hindi lang ikaw pero ng buong Pilipino…
