RIVER strolled boredly into the classroom, moving with Rebekah as she handed out flyers for her housewarming party.

"Morning, everyone" Rebekah smiled.

"Morning, Bekah" A student replied.

"So, I'm throwing a little anti-curfew party at my new house" Rebekah informed "Starts at fifth period and goes 'til whenever, spread the word"

Rebekah handed out the flyers, River turning to see Elena glaring.

"You're welcome to join, Elena, if you'd like to bury the hatchet" Rebekah spoke.

"It's a pretty enormous hatchet" Elena glared.

"Well, we're feeling generous of spirit" River smirked, Rebekah handing the new vampire a flyer.

"New house, huh?" Elena said "Did Klaus finally kick you out?"

"He didn't kick us out" Rebekah argued "We left"

"So, you left the only person on earth that actually likes you?" Elena scoffed.

River tilted his head.

"Well, your boyfriend liked her once" River taunted "Actually, a lot more than once"

Rebekah smirked, Stefan sighing, irritated that he'd been dragged into it.

"Why are you still in town, Rebekah? River?" Elena questioned "Don't you have anywhere else to go?"

"Well, history's our favourite class" Rebekah grinned.

"Actually, where is Mr. Saltzman...?" River began teasingly, pausing dramatically before smiling "Oh, that's right, I killed him"

Elena lost her temper, throwing her pencil at River's face. The Original didn't flinch, Rebekah catching it before it could hit him, throwing it back at the new vampire, the pencil impaling in her shoulder.

They glared at each other, Elena pulling it free before anyone could see, quickly moving into the hallway, Stefan by her side. River grinned, turning back to the class, his eyes narrowing as he spotted the human girl in the front row.

"Hey, Heather" River greeted, kneeling before her desk to lean on his hands.

"Hi, River" She greeted happily, a smile on her face.

"I need a favour and I think you may be able to help me" River began.

"Oh sure" She smiled, a happy-go-lucky attitude radiating from her "What can I do?"

"Come with me" River compelled.

River stepped from the classroom, Rebekah following with a curious expression, Heather doing as she was told.

"Don't scream, and don't move" River spoke, he quickly surveyed his surroundings before biting into the girl's neck.

Her blood flowed into his mouth, River drinking some down before pulling away.

"You're going to follow Elena and check if she's okay" River compelled "And then you're going to show her your neck"

Heather nodded blankly, turning and moving towards the restrooms that Elena had just entered, following after her. River exchanged a small laugh with Rebekah, listening intently as Heather entered the restroom.
