~Dimitri's point of view~

I knew what she didn't, it was wrong to delude her of the obvious but I couldn't bring myself to tell her. He'd called moments ago and I'd known then that he would find her. Did she want to be found? I didn't know... "Rosemarie?" I called, she was in her bedroom, she'd been in there a while now and I stood outside her door my eyes boring into it, waiting for her to allow me enterance.

She opened the door and I refused the urge to gasp and faint. What had happened to my dear prodedgy? She bore no make-up and wore no skirt or dress. She wore only her underwear and her hair was damp, she must've came straight from the shower. I couldn't help but stare at her body, curves in the right places, just the right weight and those dazzling blues just drew you in even more. "Staring at something?" she asked, my eyes had been lingering over her cleavage a bit too long. "Uh yeah. Um Bennett's friend Jeremy called. He said Bennett's coming for you" she cursed and looked upwards. "Is this what I get for sneaking out and becoming a vampire?" I knew the sentence was addressed to her sister and laughed lightly.

She turned to me, her gaze lingering over my bare chest before returning to my eyes. "Not bad yourself comrade" I rolled my eyes. "Have you been reading vampire academy? Again?" she grinned. "Could you tell?" I nodded, exasperated "Your bedroom shelves are stacked high with vampire books from every century in history! I figured as much."

She grinned. "Um I'm kind of cold..." she said, brushing strands of her beautiful long her behind her ears that were slightly pointed: a trait of the fae. She would never be able to control that factor, it was inherited. I chuckled. "I suppose you would be, get dry and dressed and we'll make a game plan as to how we'll deal with the Bennett situation" she smiled. "Give me ten minutes" I nodded, went into the kitchen and poured us a blood bag into a wine glass.

~Rosemarie's point of view~

I shivered as I slid on a strapless dress that fell to my knees, slipped my feet into five inch heels and put on a black gemmed wrap. I clasped a ruby and crystal choker around my neck. Being now dry, I brushed my hair straight and then curled it into perfect doll-like ringlets. I brushed a shadow over my lids, swiped a mascara over my lashes, drew a liner onto my tear lines, smudged a lipstick onto my lips and powdered my cheeks. Enforcing the idea further that I was a living, breathing doll, in a way I was.

I came out of my room and Dimitri handed me a wine glass of fresh warmed blood. I gave him a modest smile as his eyes lingered over my low cut dress and stayed there. I batted my eye lashes before saying "You know my eyes are up here right?" his head snapped up. "Sorry... There's just a lot to stare at" I rolled my eyes. "Well what do you suppose we do? I mean I love Bennett, I'm pregnant with his child and yet I can't seem to forgive him" he sighed and ran a hand through his hair, I couldn't help but realize he'd changed. He was fully dressed and appeared ready for anything. He patted me lightly on the back. "Look I'll support you in whatever you choose, in the mean time why don't I pour us another blood bag and you can tell me why you were arguing in the first place" I laughed. "That's sounds great" I sat down in the lounge, staring at my recently painted acrylic nails, their intricate flower designs amazed me even when I'd been the one to paint them. Dimitri entered the room, handing me the wine glass filled to the brim with A positive blood. I smiled. "Thanks" he sat opposite me, the marble table putting two metres between us. "No problem. So let it all out, I'm all ears" I smirked. "Where do I begin?" he winked at me. "You begin where the problems began like any story does" I acknowledged this with a smile. "Of course darling, it's stupid of me to think I'd start anywhere else" he grinned and I began to pour my most intent thoughts out.

~Bennett's point of view~

I ran at one hundred miles an hour in her direction, Jeremy trailing behind me at my flanks, never faltering to be with me through thick and thin. We were sun and moon, like stars and planets, like fire and water, without the other we were pointless. "So... I heard you and Scarlett have been dating" I said, smiling as we ran, he couldn't see my smile but the pack telepathy allowed him to sense it. I could sense him roll his eyes. "I'll have you know it was just a kiss and well... we haven't talked since" he said. "When did it happen?" he muttered words Rose wouldn't much appreciate and muttered "The day the clearwater's arrived" I sighed, resigned. "Oh" I said quietly, more to myself than him. "Yeah I know. You never expected me to find a mate, I get it, nobody can expect anything more from Jeremy than man-whore" I rolled my eyes. "Jeremy nobody thinks that, I mean sure you slept around after Sapphire died but you have to get over it, you couldn't have prevented that" he growled at me and snapped his jaw to a clenched state in which he grinded his teeth together, refusing to lash out and bite me "She was my mate, I should've been there for her" I growled. "You couldn't have saved her, none of us could!" he rolled his eyes "Of course we could" I sighed and turned on my heels so I faced him. "Dude it's been two years, you were fifteen you couldn't have done anything" he whimpered as I he lay there, ducking from my raised paw "I know, I just wish I could" I lowered my paw "Don't we all... Now come on, we find Rose or I find insanity" he chuckled and muttered 'that better not happen'.

(A/N) okay so i've made a prequel to this, it's about Rose's and Dimitri's lives before we knew them. It's mainly historical stuff like the Jack the Ripper dream and other stuff. Check it out: fan, vote and comment. And most importantly enjoy.

I hope you like this chapter I wished I could've made Bennett's part longer but the next chapter should be up by the weekend. Sorry to make you guys wait. I'll be posting the prequel tonight. Not sure if there'll be a sequel though. I'll decide when the last few chapters of this have been posted.

The song for this chapter is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtube_gdata_player&v=wGJ8ixlfKUs
