When I got home from school I put my bag on a chair and plopped down on the couch.

"Rileeeeeeeeeeeeeey!"

"Oh no," I laughed to myself.

My little brother Auggie ran up to me and jumped on my lap. "Hey Riley, guess what happened today?"

"What?"

"Ava and I kissed!"

I stared at him. "You what?"

"I kissed Ava!" Auggie repeated.

"Eww!" I said and stuck my tongue out.

"I really like her Riley, I think I wanna marry her!" Auggie said excitedly.

I giggled. "Auggie I know you really like her, but you're too young to get married. Wait until you're older and then I'll throw you the best wedding ever."

"Ok," he replied and then he just sat there like he was waiting for something.

"Hey Riley?"

"Yeah?"

"Am I old enough now?"

I laughed. "No Auggie, you have to wait at least a few years."

"Oh, well okay," he said and ran back to his room.

I went to my room and opened the window so Maya could get in if she wanted to.

In the mean time I did my English homework.

"'Sup Riley pie," I heard someone say.

I looked up to see Maya crawling through my window.

"Seriously? You're going to call me Riley pie now?"

"I'm just trying out some nicknames," Maya said as she sat down at the bay window.

"Maya I need to tell you something."

"Hey I like your bed spread, is that new?"

"Maya I'm being serious."

"No really, it looks really great with your wall color."

"It's important," I said, getting aggravated.

"Maybe I should get it too. Oh my gosh we could twin with our beds!"

"Maya!"

"It's really a great color."

"I THINK I HAVE A CRUSH ON FARKLE!" I blurted out.

"What." Maya stared at me.

I stared back, fiddling with my thumbs.

"Umm... ew. But my little Riley is all grown up! " Maya grabbed me and squeezed me so hard I could barely breathe.

"Ow ow ow, can't breathe," I gasped.

"Hehe sorry," Maya said as she let me go. "Are you sure you like him?"

"I think so, I'm always thinking about him and I stare at him all the time."

"You totally do! You should ask him out!"

"No I can't do that! You know how awkward I get."

We heard a knock on the window and I saw Farkle smiling at us. I opened the window for him, giving Maya a nervous look.

"Hellooooo ladies," he said and wiggled his eyebrows..

"Hehehehehehehehehehehehe," I giggled uncontrollably and Maya put her hand over my mouth.

This was going to be a long night.
