Chapter 22

Nikki's POV

*During Dream*

I woke up, with something heavy over my waist. I looked around frantically, when my eyes landed on a picture frame. In the picture frame was a picture of me, Ryder and two small children, a girl who looked a little like me but she had Ryder's eyes and a boy who looked like Ryder but he had my hair and my eyes. They look like they are the same age. I feel the grip arpund my waist tightening.
"Morning, gorgeous" he said in a husky tone that it sent a shiver down my spine.
"Morning" I said, not removing my gaze from the picture.
"He's going to be a heart breaker just like me and she is going to be a beautiful and respected luna just like you." He said, finally noticing what I was looking at. A gasp excapes my mouth as I stare at the picture. He just starts laughing at me but in a manner that isn't rude. As if on cue the door swung open and in ran two little children.
"Mommy, mommy, Brian is chasing me." Alexis, my daughter came running towards me and Ryder. She jumped on the bed and quickly got under the comforter between me and Ryder. I am now looking between my son and daughter.
"Why would he be chasing you?" I ask her with a smirk on my face, when I look at Ryder I saw that he had a smirk plastered on his face as well.
"Because I was teasing him about liking a girl." She says it in such an innocent voice that I couldn't help but smile at her.
"Oh really?" Ryder said to our son Brian with a smirk on his face. Brian's face went as red as a tomato as he nodded. In one swift and quick movement Ryder picked up Brian and put him on the bed. He looked at me with a smirk playing on his lips and I knew exactly what he is going to do, I got in position and on the count of three we started tickling them. All we could hear was their laughter and pleads to stop.

Later that day, the alarm signalimg that we were being attacked went off. I quickly went to fetch Brian and Alexis and went to the shelter for the children and some of the women. I gave them to one of the women in there and then ran to stand by Ryder. We were still in human form as we wanted to see who was attaking us. At first we saw nothing but then out of nowhere a large wolf is jumping towards Ryder with is canines out. Luckily Ryder was quick and moved out the way, we then shifted along with the rest of the pack. Everyone started fighting, and trying to kill the unknown enemy.
We were winnig until a painfil howl erupted through the forest. I froze dead in my trackes as I knew exactly whose howl that was.

*Dream Ends*

I shot up in the bed while screaming. I then noticed that i was covered in sweat and that i was shaking. Ryder was already looking at me with both worry and concern writen on his face.
"Baby, what's wrong?" He asked his voice full of concern, i just stared at him in shock
"Oh thank god Ryder, you're ok." I said my voice filled with relief as i jumped on his lap and hugged him as if there was no tommorow
