As I ran through the palace screaming Steph's name I realized that she is probably in her room. I ran as fast as I could there. When I got there her door was locked.
"Steph! PLEASE LET ME IN!"
"NO!" Then I heard her sniffle
"Please darling I love you. Let me in, I need to explain."
"Explain what!? That you were planning on dumping me in the place that we met! Like the complete asshole you are!"
"Steph can I just explain what my plan was today? Start to finish?"
"Fine you have 10 seconds." She does not look happy but I have to say this.
"Okay so after you were captured by rebels I was so scared I didn't sleep those three days we couldn't find you. After the quards found you I was so happy and relieved that I never wanted to be away from you. So I set up this day to propose to you I wrote song and everything! I even learned how to play the guitar for you and my mom tried to make me learn for three years and it never took! At least not until I wrote a song for you. Then after I proposed and you said yes I would kiss you senseless  and we would live happily ever after. If you wanted to?"
"I-I-I just don't know if I can trust you! Especially after seeing you making out with another girl! How can I get over that!" She was crying now I feel really bad I just want to hug her and make her feel better.
Steph
I feel my eyes water over ands realize I'm crying! This sucks! First my boyfriend kisses another girl then I cry in front of said boyfriend! Well I guess

"Please don't cry darling it makes my heart hurt even more than before I found you here!"
"Why were you sad? You were making-out with your secret make-out partner Princess Mila of France!"
"I don't love her! I love you! Your the one I planned to propose to today! She is a sleazy human being who just used me for my crown and money because her brother is first in line for the throne and she will get nothing! Again I love you! NO. ONE. ELSE!"

"Did you say you love me too? Because if you did I-I-I would be honored if you Stephanie Anne Ledger would marry a low level no throne to call his own prince like me. Well yes me. Will you marry me?

"Go ahead I would love to hear it." I said with a smirk.
"Okay." He takes out his guitar and starts to strum.

I have to tell her the truth about the song. It feels so good to have her snuggling in to me though.
"Steph I need to tell you something."
"What? You can tell me anything babe," Those eyes I can't lie to her or dance around the question.
"The song. I originally wrote the beginning of it for Mila. When I wanted to be more than just make-out partners"
"WHAT! GET. OUT. OF. MY. ROOM!!!!!"
"Okay. As you wish."
Then I left sadly with an idea in mind to fix this.
