Seven Years Later (Carrying on from previous chapter, meaning they'd be eighteen.)

Their Ten Year Anniversary

(You may need tissues. This is gonna be a cute one.)

Also, a few people said about them being teachers, I can't remember who, but I loved the ideas so thank you :)

Also, this took me two days to write so I hope you really like this chapter.

Dianne's POV

Ten Years.

Joe and I had made it to ten years.

Things between us, have been incredible. There hasn't been a day where I haven't laughed, like full on, belly laughed.

He brings out the absolute best of me. I'd say he's my better half.

So, after Joe's arrival back to Australia, he got a job pretty much immediately. He's now assistant head teacher at Bunbury High. Our old school.

I own my own children's Nursery, Daisychain Children's Nursery. Which I love. I won't lie, having to fire people isn't nice, but it has to be done I suppose. But, I do love it.

We've only just bought our first house together. Until we got enough money coming in, we couldn't afford our own place, so we rented a flat for a few years. Then to save a little more, we moved in with my Mum and Dad.

And now, here we are, on moving day, moving into our own place. I was at my happiest with Joe. I really was. Only thing missing? An engagement ring.

I've been hinting for years, and nothing. But I guess when he's ready, he'll do it. I know he wants to marry me, because we've talked about it, millions of times I guess I can't rush these things. When Joe's ready, he'll ask me. I know he doesn't like it when people put pressure on him, it makes him not want to do it, so I'll just let him do it in his own time. Plus, it's more special that way.

The smell of food wafts up my nose. The door opening to reveal my handsome, bare chested boyfriend walk through with breakfast. ''Happy Anniversary Dotty,'' Joe says in an Australian tang. He's picked up the accent, that's for sure.

''Happy Anniversary, Joey.'' I grin, taking the tray from him.

''Are you excited for moving day?'' He asks, slipping into bed next to me.

''Yes. As much as I love living with Mum and Dad, I can't wait to live on our way.'' I smile.

''Me too,'' He kisses my nose. ''Eat up and we'll get a move on.'' I nod, excited for moving day.

''Before we go, here.'' Joe passes me a card.

I smile as I open it.

To my beautiful Dotty,

Ten years. Ten whole years ago, we fell in love,

Ten years ago I knew that you were the one, the one that I want to spend my life with,

For me, meeting you was the best to happen, as I've never been happier,

We haven't had an easy ride, but we've always come out stronger at the other end,

My life without you Dotty is not worth living. Not one bit,

I've loved spending ten years of my life exploring things with you and I hope we have a lot more years, hopefully forever, exploring more,

Thank you for loving me, for me. And showing me what love really is,

Not only are you my best friend, you're also my soulmate and my future. My incredible, crazy girlfriend, you're the one, you really are. Truly,
