I freeze at my spot.

I try to hear what's going on, I don't dare to go outside. I need to know what's wrong and she for sure won't keep screaming if she sees me.

That's none of my business after all. Well, it is. I need to know if something isn't right.

"You know what? Fuck you!" She sounds so furious, I've never heard her like this before. Seriously, what's going on?

"Why don't you do that?" Of course she's fighting with him. That asshole just can't treat her right.

"This isn't funny!" "C'mon babe, don't be mad at me. I didn't do anything." Even though I can't see him I know he's smirking. I can literally hear it.

Why is he smirking when she's upset? This fucking dick.

"Oh, really?" "Really." "I told you to stop that shit!", she yells.

"I wasn't doing anything bad. I just touched you a bit, nothing special. We've been together for.. how long now? Two weeks? How much longer do I need to wait until I finally get what I've been waiting for?"

"You're sick", she spits. "After two weeks?"

"Usually I do it before I even get together with someone. Well, usually I don't even get together with them. See how special you are."

"But I'm no slut!", Ariana says angrily. It takes so much for me not to run outside and beat Brian up.

"Sleeping with me doesn't make you a slut", he replies.

"I didn't even sleep with Luke!" My heart starts racing as I hear my name. She's talking about me!

"Because he sucks, obviously. Who would wanna sleep with him", Brian says. Thanks.

"Stop talking about him like that!" I feel a little bit hopeful as I hear her getting angrier.

"I'm your boyfriend so you shouldn't give a fuck about what I'm saying about other guys!"

"And I'm your girlfriend so you shouldn't treat me like trash!", Ariana screams at him.

"I just touched you a bit!", he raises his voice. "I didn't rape you or anything!"

Oh shit.

For a second it's quiet and I'm just about to walk outside to look after her but at that moment she speaks up.

"Go to hell", she says calmly. Her voice sends shivers down my spine. This isn't how I expected her to react.

"What?! What did you just say?!" This time it's Brian who starts shouting.

"No one talks to me like that! Especially not a girl!"

"Brian, just leave", Ariana says. "No, you know what? I won't leave! What do you say now?"

I should go outside, he sounds so pissed off, I'm actually scared of him hurting her.

Oh my god, that didn't even come to my mind yet! He seems like the abusive type to be honest.. What if he hurt her already?

I step outside, inhaling the fresh air. Ariana and Brian are further away than I thought.

They're just a few feet away from the street and a few cars. He could just push her into his car and do whatever with her. Why is it even so lonely out here? Where are the people?

"Now you don't know what to say, huh?", he asks, neither of them seem to notice me yet.

"You can't just make me leave. Look at me and look at you. I could probably break you in half if I tried."

I clench my fists. I swear to god if he hurts her I'm gonna kill him.

"Nice to know how you really are", Ariana's eyes narrow. "Now leave me the fuck alone."

"I won't, baby", he smirks. "I haven't had fun yet."

What the fuck is he trying to say..?!

"You're drunk, Brian", Ariana says and crosses her arms in front of her chest.

"Maybe", he replies and takes a step closer. "But also drunk people need some fun."

He reaches out for her but she takes a step backwards. Do something, Luke!

I'm just watching all of this shit, not able to do anything. I'm supposed to protect her, for fuck's sake! What's wrong with me?

"Don't", Ariana warns as Brian tries to grab her arm again.

"Don't what?", he smirks. "Don't touch me."

"Why not?" "Because I don't want that." "I'm sure you do."

He pulls her closer and I'm finally able to move. I run over to them, just when Ariana starts screaming.

He immediately lets go and covers her mouth with his hand. "What the hell?", he asks with wide eyes.

Suddenly he jerks his hand away, she must've bitten him.

"I said don't touch me, okay?!", she yells. I stop, just a few feet away from them and finally they notice me.

"Not him again", Brian growls. "Leave her alone!", I say, sounding not as brave as I insisted. He's kinda been creeping me out since he beat me up.

"You can't do anything against it", he says as he reaches out for her once again.

"Don't you fucking dare touch me, Brian!", Ariana yells. "I got fucking raped just last year, I don't want anyone to touch me, especially not against my will! Get away from me you idiot!"

Mine and Brian's eyes widen as the words leave Ariana's mouth. Her head is red by now, not as pale as usually. I've never seen her this angry before, nothing I did could get her this furious.

Brian just stares at her so I decide it's my turn now. "Didn't you hear her?", I ask. "Fuck off!"

Brian quickly takes a few steps backwards, obviously shocked because of her sudden outburst.

"I.. I'm already gone", he stutters. "I'll call you tomorrow."

"You better not", I snap and glares at me. He walks over to his car and gets in, then he starts the engine and drives off.

"Are you okay?", I ask and turn back to Ariana who's breathing heavily.

"Ariana?", I ask after a few seconds of her not answering me.

"You just fuck off as well, Luke. I don't need your help", she spits. "If you think you owe it to me just because you broke my heart, you thought wrong! Just finally leave me alone, okay?!"

With that she runs back into the house, leaving me in confusion.
