To confirm if the emperor was really dead, Kian shot a few more waves of psyche energy. When he didn't get a response, Kian fell silent.

Finally, one of the enemies of humanity was gone. Kian still wanted to celebrate but his abdomen started to ache. His movements just now caused blood to sleep from the originally blocked wound.

While feeling lightheaded, Kian harvested the emperor's horns. It was larger and darker in color than the other fortisians.

He quickly took out the other bone orbs and fused the new pair of horns. The result was unexpected. It wasn't pure white anymore but with a few strands of golden liquid.

With a determined look, Kian didn't bother to store the liquid in a container and just gulped it down. Right after he did so, he quickly pulled out the trident embedded on his abdomen with all his might.

Before anything could leave his body, the wound closed at a terrifying rate. However, it was followed with a pain that seemed to have reached his soul.

Kian knew he had made a mistake. If he was to fall unconscious in this place, he would be caught by the enemies. Thus, despite the incredible pain, he still forced himself to stay awake. This lead to feeling the pain that made everything he had felt before pale in comparison.

An hour later, the evolution elixer had mostly been absorbed his body. His skin now held suppleness like those of a baby but with the hardness of a rock.

Just when he was about to stand up, the door opened. The three fortisians entered with vigilant expressions. It had been an hour since the emperor and the intruder started their battle. They had been worried of what might have happened so despite the emperor's order, they still entered.

The sight that awaited them made their pupils contract. Their emperor laid on the floor lifeless. On the side, the intruder with a black halo stared them with an indifferent look. The next thing that they faced was darkness that threatened to consume them.

Kian didn't bat an eyelid when he killed the three fortisians. He stood up and closed the door. He clicked a buttons on his watch.

Mayne's holograpich image appeared from the watch. He looked quite weary after a long fight.

"Order the troops to retreat and form a barricade around the base." He told Mayne.

"Huh? What are you-" Mayne didn't have a chance to finish what he was about to say when Kian quickly cut off the message.

Kian knew that he didn't have time to waste. With a war going on below, the emperor didn't have the leisure time to have a long and smooth meeting with his subjects. If he delayed for any longer, the others might notice that something was wrong.

"It's time for the second part of the plan." Kian took a deep breath before he disappeared from the room.

He blinked away for a few more times before and ended up in different rooms. On his right hand was the black trident which will be a useful tool for his plan to work out.

Half an hour later, he was finally able to locate the control room. There were a lot of people inside. As such, fighting them one by one was not a good choice.

"I didn't come for them anyway." Kian wandered his eyes around the huge room and saw his objectives.

Lines that covered the floor and pierced through the walls covered the entire room. They were the channels used to transmit power and commands throughout the whole battleship.

Kian grinned and appeared in one of the larger lines.

His appearance was a huge shock to the fortisians inside. Despite mostly being scientists, they quickly launches their attacks on him.

On the other hand, Kian didn't pay them any attention and slashed through the line with the trident. The line that was still emitting blue light cracked and turned dim.

At the same time, a lot of machines in the battleship stopped functioning including few of those inside the control room.

The fortisians were horrified when they realized the intruder's intentions. With screams of rage, they continued their attacks on him. However, Kian was already gone.

The fortisians found out that the energy lines were slowly dimming one after another and soon, the entire room was pitch black.

Kian was unrelenting. He didn't stopped when just the energy lines destroyed. He also bashes the computers and other technology that had the slightest connection in managing the ship.

Not long after that, his figure was already dashing away into the desert. He then entered the barrage of fortisians and fluctusans that surrounded the base, just in time before the ferocious battleship that had once struck terror to the humans fall from its high altitude.
