Three items showed themselves towards the people in the room.

"Keys?"Kian asked with interest.

Indeed. The three items were similar looking keys. It was made of some unknown type of metal that was similar to gold but was slightly dark. It's bow was shaped as a gravestone and the pin was a ball of light.

"They are indeed keys but there's more to it. These are three out of the ten keys left by the Treasure King."Professor Perch explained.

Treasure King? He must an inhabitant of this world. The title 'king' also made it clear that he was someone important so it means that these keys were definitely valuable. Kian couldn't help but get excited.

"Who's the Treasure King?" he asked the professor.

"The treasure king is the person with the most treasures in this world. At the same time, he's also the best tomb raider. It is said that he had unparalleled skills in raiding tombs as well as unimaginable stength that he used to steal treasures in the resting places of powerful figures." Professor Perch said.

A tomb raider? To think that he would be so famous and even be titled as a king despite having such a job. Could it be that these keys are for opening any kind of treasure chests or tombs? He voiced out his questions.

"No, of course not. The Treasure King is already dead. However, he left ten treasure chests that can only be opened by using these keys. I don't know the specific thing hidden inside but the last one who opened one of his chests achieved incredible power that made him leap across levels." Professor Perch said some shocking words that left the people inside shocked.

If that was true then didn't he just acquire three of them? Kian's eyes widened and his breathing became heavy.

"Professor, where can I find these treasure chests?" he couldn't help but ask.

To his dismay, Professor Perch shrugged his shoulders.

"Who knows. They're scattered all over the world. If you want to find them, you have to rely on luck and a good intelligent network." The professor couldn't help but laugh.

They asked a couple more questions before Professor Perch decided to leave to let Kian rest.

"Remember Kian. Don't let anyone aside from the people here inside know that you got three of the Treasure King's chest keys or you'll end up dead" the professor warned before he left.

When he left, Kian's shoulders couldn't help but slouch. At first, he thought he was going to receive an amazing treasure. To think that it would only be for the eyes to see.

"Whatever. I'll leave it up to luck. Anyway, guys. I have something to tell you" he faced the two with a serious face.

He went silent for a few seconds before he cleared his throat.

"In a week, I'm going to leave the academy and start an adventure. Are you willing to accompany me?" he said in a slow and deep voice.

The two were surorised. To think he would be willing to graduate so early.

Bea sighed and shook her head.

"Sorry Kian but I'm still planning on reaching level eighty before I leave. I don't feel confident in being able to survive outside right now. Are you really sure that you want to go out? Isn't that so sudden. " she asked worriedly.

Kain nodded with a determined expression. He was now so worried about his sister that he couldn't sit tight in this place anymore.

Since she already spoke, he had no intention of purchasing her any further. After all, it was really understand dangerous outside.

When you leave Shade Academy's territory, monsters wouldn't be staying in one specific areas anymore unlike the hunting grounds. They would be present everywhere since there was no academy to supress them.

He turned his head to Shawn who in turn gave him a sinister smile. He slightly leaned his body to Kian and spoke near his ear.

"I ain't leaving the academy without her. Hehehe, let's see if you still can have MY Bea, shorty" his words were barely audible even to Kain not to mention Bea.

Kian couldn't help but smile wryly at the guy who thought he had some relationship with Bea.

"Then let's see each other again if we still can in the future" he grinned to the two and held out his hand.

"Of course"

"Fine, Fine!"

The two answered in chorus and joined their hands together. They couldn't help but smile at the friendship that was born out of a death game.

After they chatted for a while, they left the room leaving Kian and Xian alone together.

"So I guess it'll only be you and me now little guy"He smiled lightly.

"Heh,what are you saying boss? Aren't you going to get yourself a girlfriend or something to accompany us in our journey?" Xian teased him while bumping his shoulders into Kian's.

"Little guy" Kian grinned, revealing a canine tooth before he grabbed the little guy and gave him a dose of cat lover's rubbing of terror.

While they were playing around, Kian couldn't help but turn his gaze to the ajar window and look outside. The darkness was far reaching and who knows what awaits them there.

This week was hell! I couldn't even start to type since my mind and body was dead tired from multiple quizzes and performance tasks in school everyday. Thankfully, the weekened and two consecutive holidays has started.

Anyway, thanks for reading this chapter!
