Inside a massive mushroom forest, a tortoise the size of a huge water drum appeared. Its shell was the shape of a mushroom with the color the same as the ground. It carefully blended into the surroundings as if it was just another one of the mushrooms in the place.

A dog sized frog passed by the area, not knowing the danger that awaits it. Right after it stepped ten meters ahead of the tortoise, a long tongue suddenly appeared and grabbed it.

Without even managing to let out a scream, the frog was eaten whole. There was a satisfied expression on the tortoise's face.

When it was about to hide back in its shell however, a rain of small revolving black holes appeared and landed upon its head.

"Guaaah!" the tortoise's scream was deafening. It nearly forgot to return back to its shell.

A large shark like fist appeared and bombarded its head, stunning and preventing it from moving.

Another barrage of bullets appeared but they were all Bullet Is. Soon, its HP was drained and it died with unwillingness.

"That was easy" a young man's voice sounded out.

Atop a tall red mushroom, Kian appeared wearing the usual brown robes and jeans. On the ground, Alexa appeared with a grin on her face.

"It was just warm up anyway" she jumped and landed next to Kian.

"So what about it? Am I strong enough to tag along with you on a journey?" she sat down and took out a bottle of water from her inventory.

"Sure. Sure." Kian answered her nonchalantly and also drank to replenish his fluids.

Alexa rolled her eyes at him before she checked her Status Screen.

"Anyway, I already bought my own Magic Pod. I'm going with you no matter what." she said.

Kian couldn't help but sigh at the active girl's train of thought. She had been bugging him for days to tag along on his upcoming journey right after he told them all about it. He didn't tell them the reason because only he knew how dangerous it would be.

He thought that the matter about the people with the red eye shaped crystals was not a big issue. To think that they would also appear in here and as player killers.

What confused him the most was that the bowling ball guy only had a single eye crystal. Moreover, it was blue.

He also did research about Jiro and his guild, the Dawn Knights. It seems that they were a top guild located in the central part of the continent. However, they disappeared a month before the Dimension Separation as if their total number of players that reached thousands had stopped playing.

Right after he learned of this, a chill made its way on his back. He was certain that a group of people are conducting a dangerous scheme behind everyone's back.

Right after he made this conclusion, a sense of urgency started came over him and he couldn't sleep properly at nights. Only when he thought he was strong enough was the time that he was able to calm down.

"We should go back. I'll be leaving tomorrow." he didn't say anything to her any further.

He already told her that this journey would be dangerous but everytime he did, there was no change in her expression at all. Besides, he thought that an additional company may change this dangerous journey into an exciting one.

The next day, two Magic Pods made their way into the vast grasslands. They hovered a few meters away from each other and were headed towards a different direction.

Inside his Magic Pod, Kian was randomly talking to Alexa through the whisper system. George and Amy joined in just a few minutes ago but had to go for lunch.

"So, where exactly are we going? You still haven't told me ever since we left" Alexa said in a dissatisfied tone.

"The Central regions. To the Dungeon City of Boreas. " he said shortly.

"Hmm... I've been there before the Dimension Separation. The monsters in that dungeon are more dangerous than those found normally outside. Are you sure you want to go there?" she asked with curiosity.

"What? Scared now, Lexi?" he couldn't help but tease her.

"Who's scared? I'm much more of a man than you. Hmph." She said grumpily before she turned off the whisper system.

Kian couldn't help but feel speechless. He shrugged his shoulders and closed his eyes to take a nap to relieve his boredom. The journey was still long. He couldn't afford to get impatient.
