It's been a year since the Dimension Separation. The players had gradually been able to adapt to their new life in this dangerous world. Wherever they go, they try to change this world to make it similar back on Earth even just by a little bit.

Boreas City was still the same as usual. Festivity was in the air everyday since people come and go with new things along with them. Since most of the players here were high leveled, they had more confidence in their safety which reduced incidents of break down and anxieties.

In a small traditional restaurant made up of varnished bamboo and rattan, Kian and Alexa sat side by side in front of a table full of food. Across them sat Amy and George. The trio were engaged in a conversation that shifted topics from time to time.

"I didn't think that fish pastes would be available in this place." Alexa couldn't help but grin as she said. She took a piece of the flesh from a fried fish and then dipped it into the brownish sauce before she happily munched on it.

"Me too! Western foods are nice but nothing can beat the taste of food from our own country but it seems that someone doesn't like it though." Amy said and shot her brother who was crunching his nose as he looked away from the bowl of fish paste in the table.

"It smells. Why do you even like that?" Kian couldn't help but complain.

"It does not smell. Here, taste it birthday boy!" Alexa scooped a handful of fish paste and thrusted it into his mouth.

Kian couldn't do anything to dodge from a Martial Lord's speed. The fish paste's taste permeated his mouth. It was tasty but a second later, his nose felt itchy because of the smell.

In the background, a guy couldn't help but wretch from his mouth clogged with fish paste. The trio on the table however had evil grins as they watched him suffer. This made Kian almost cry. He regretted that he ever bought them this to this restaurant for his eighteenth birthday.

"You guys are evil!" He glared at them and made a mental note to never forget this grudge.

Soon, they returned back to eating and discussed the current state of this world until they reached the topic about the Excelcis.

"So bro, how does it feel like to have those fashionable crystals on your head?" George asked with a teasing smile.

Kian in return couldn't help but roll his eyes. He raised the hood of his new robe and put it over his head and looked around before he glared at the guy.

"They're not fashion crystals. Besides, it can get annoying sometimes since they usually bump with objects. There's also other Excelcises who might be walking around the place. I don't want to get involved with them this early." Kian snorted and then fell into a deep thought.

After everything that happened especially after he killed the Player Killer from the Greedy Wolf Guild, he decided to change his mindset and fitted it into the circumstances of this world. Now that he knew what the Excelcis were planning to do, he prepared himself to kill one of these human looking aliens some day.

Kian's time was mostly spent either spending time with his friends or training. Although his level didn't really rose as fast the other players, he was already satisfied by what he had achieved.

There was also that item from the Treasure King's treasure chest which turned to be a pill that could raise mental related stats like intelligence, magic, and Psyche. Each of these stats rose by one asterisk which was equivalent to a hundred points.

After a clicking a few buttons, he opened his Status Window in the Status Screen. As usual, his face brightened up as he read the contents of the barely changing stats.

Just as he was about to close the window, a blinking notification suddenly caught his eye. It was a message sent through the chat system, a messaging system rarely used by players since Whisper was more convenient.

He furrowed his eyebrows and clicked on the message. It was only a single word which came from Keiko.

'Help'

There were no more words after that. His expression quickly changed. If she was only able to send such a short message then she was definitely in grave danger.

He opened the tracking feature. Thankfully, her location was turned on so he as able to pinpoint where she was. It was inside Boreas City and was quite near their place.

Without saying any word to the others, he dashed off and quickly headed to where Keiko was.

It's been days since I last updated. The editing is still not done but I'm planning to divide my time so they can be finished at the same time.

By the way, a new picture of Kian above.
