This Christmas

Chapter 33

*Knock knock knock* was all Gabriella heard when she opened her eyes.

"Does he not know what sleep is?" She asked herself.

When she opened the door it was Wyatt "happy Christmas Eve".

She smiled "don't you know what sleep is?"

"Yeah but I got breakfast for us".

She was still tired but she couldn't resist a good breakfast.

When Wyatt was putting the stuff away she quickly hid the evidence of the scrapbook.

They say at the table and ate.

"What shall we do to celebrate Christmas Eve?" Gabriella asked.

"I was thinking ice skating or maybe go sledding again. Maybe go see the animals again, if you don't want to it's totally understandable".

"That all sounds fantastic and I think I'm ready for it".

He smiled and nodded.

Gabriella was falling in love but she didn't think it would happen so fast.

They haven't known each other that long but for Gabriella it felt like they known each other forever.

After they ate Gabriella changed because she had just gotten out of bed when Wyatt came.

They decided to go to the animal area first to get that over with.

Gabriella said she was ready but in reality she wasn't.

"Wyatt are okay with this, I mean are you ready?" She asked.

"Honestly I'm a little terrified still but you said your ready so I'm going to do it".

"Honestly, i am not completely ready either".

"Want to go back".

"No let's do this".

They heals each others hands and walked.

They reached the animal area and it was going well.

They made it out of the animal area alive and they feel a lot better about everything.

After that they wanted to relax for a little while so they just sat and talked.

"Wyatt, are you going to miss this place?" She asked even though she really wanted to ask if he would miss her.

"It's been fun, so yeah I will miss this place".

"Yeah me too".

"If I'm being honest I'll miss you more than I'll miss this place".

She smiled "I'm scared about all this".

"About all what?"

He was completely clueless.

"I mean after all this is over. You have been such an amazing person this trip and my life feels a lot better with you in it" she began to cry.

"Like I said before don't worry. No matter what happens I'll always be there for you. We will make this work. Besides we don't live that far from each other".

"I know but what if all this between us is just the trip".

"What do you mean?"

"Like the magic of this trip is all that is happening between us and once we go back to reality we will realize that we don't really like each other" tears fell from her face as she finished that sentence.

He wrapped his arm around her and placed a kiss on her forehead "now look at me. You are such a remarkable person and maybe this is just all in the trip, which I know it's not. Whatever happens I'm glad I spilled that coffee on you and I'm glad you gave me a chance because this trip would honestly suck alone. Gabriella, you are the light in my life now and that is never going to change even if we end up not talking after we leave her. We survived a lot here and I feel it brought us closer. Life is complicated especially relationships and love but I know for one thing I'm never regretting this. I know once we hop on the plane and go back home my feelings will never change for you. I hope your feelings won't changed either. Besides I'm looking forward to visiting your bakery and meeting everyone. Just believe in your heart and whatever happens I'll be fine with it because this is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I have never felt this way before".

Gabriella couldn't find the words to reply with and just started to wipe her tears.

Wyatt placed another kiss on her forehead and gave her a little hug.

Once Gabriella calmed her self they went Togo ice skating.

Gabriella doesn't like being so emotional in front of others but she feels so safe around Wyatt.

They got their skates on and skating around and around.

They spoke a few words but they both knew what they were thinking.

They slowed down "Wyatt I'm sorry for not saying anything after all that you said it's just I never had someone say that type of stuff about me. I was just so overwhelmed".

He rubbed her cheek "I understand. You said before it's all new to you and I wouldn't want to rush anything. Feel anyway you want to feel I don't mind".

They kissed.

"You really are amazing Wyatt, I don't know how I got so lucky".

They hugged which caused them to slip and fall on the ice which they then laughed about it.

They skated around the rink a couple more times and they realized they both were hungry and went to get some macaroni cheese.

Gabriella felt really happy and sad but the smile on her face never left.

They reached the restaurant and got their macaroni and cheese.

"I know for one thing I'm going to miss this" he said.

"Yeah me too".

They enjoyed their little meal and just walked around and decided to skip sledding.

They went to hang out with the reindeers as they are trying to do so many things before they leave.

Vixen of course sat next to her and expressed her sadness about leaving.

Wyatt was playing with the others and she smiled so much.

If the relationship thing doesn't work Gabriela did regain her love for the holidays. It wasn't much but it was still something.

They ended up going back to the amusement park one last time to have their little Ferris wheel moment all over again.

Once they reached the amusement park that is exactly where they headed first.

Before this trip Gabriella wasn't a big Ferris wheel person but she never wanted to get off this one.
