Y/n's POV
You had been tossing and turning all night, struggling to get to sleep. It took you hours until you actually managed to get to sleep, only the horrible imagines of your nightmares seemed to tattoo themselves onto the inside of your eyelids.
Namjoon's POV
At around one in the morning, Namjoon found himself being woken up by you writhing around on the mattress.
"Y/n? What are you doing? I'm trying to sleep, baby."
He turned over to look at you, finding your face contorted into an expressions of pain. His face immediately softened from one of annoyance to one of concern. He wiggled over to your side of the bed and pulled you into his arms. He stroked your hair softly in an attempt to calm you down and, eventually, you did.
Y/n's POV
You could feel someone stroking your hair, causing you to stir from your sleep. You looked up with sleepy eyes to find your boyfriend comforting you.
"Joonie?"
He looked down at you, before speaking.
"Shhhh, baby. Go back to sleep. I've got you."
You snuggled into him and went back to sleep, just as he did.
