I went into the studio to find Freddie. I knew he was in there because the piano echoes through the rest of the farm house. Roger was still in bed with an incredible hangover and the two guitarists were chatting at the dining table. I knew they were talking about me because they kept glancing over at me, I caught them in the corner of my eye a few times.

"Fredrick!" I shouted, making him jump out of his skin

"Fuck!" He squealed, slamming his fists on the piano keys

I stood there giggling like a school girl.

"You know, you could be interrupting a man creating a masterpiece" Freddie said dramatically

"Oh really? What are you doing?" I asked

"It's called Bohemian Rhapsody. It's a bloody masterpiece! I've been working on it for ages and I think it's ready for the boys to join in." Freddie states proudly

"We'll start it soon" I sat next to him on the piano bench

"Wonderful" he grinned, "now, for what do I owe the pleasure? I know you wouldn't interrupt me if you didn't want something"

"Yeah. Well. I. Uh..." I couldn't find the words

"Spit it out darling" Freddie chuckled

"Ok. Don't freak out but I wanted to ask you about John and last night" I saw Freddie's face light up

"Ah! Oh my goodness!! You like him!" Freddie clapped excitedly

"Freddie shh!" I put my hand over his mouth to shut him up, "Brian told me what happened last night and I wanted to clear some stuff up with you. Then I want to talk about John"

Freddie pulled my hand away from his face and quietly said, "Ok"

"Last night, Brian said you shouted at John to go into bed with me" I whispered

"Oh darling! Did I? I'm so sorry I was very drunk" Freddie looked genuinely sad that he did that

"Yeah. I just wanted to say that I don't want to pressure him. I do like him, yes, a lot. I'm just letting him come to me because I don't want to spook him" I explained

"You may be waiting for a while. He's not very confident at all, I'm sure you've seen." Freddie looked quite solemn

"Yeah. That's why I don't want to push anything." I reasoned

"But if he did ask you, you would say yes?" Freddie quizzed

"Yes. But don't tell John, ok?" I gave Freddie a serious look

"I'll try not to" Freddie smirked

"You better not" I giggled

"I promise to try. I'm not sure how successful I'll be" Freddie hugged me

"That's all I ask" I hugged him back, "Right, shall I get the boys to come in and start 'Bohemian Rhapsody'?"

"Please" Freddie smiled

"Alright, I'll be right back" I winked before leaving the studio to go and round up the lads

I walked into the kitchen to find the three guys there. Roger had just finished a bowl of cereal and they were just chattering amongst themselves.

"Morning Rog" I greeted

"Good morning" He groaned

"Aren't you all happy chaps." I giggled, "Right, into the studio, Freddie has a song"

Brian came up to me and slung his arm around my neck. He is just like an annoying big brother!

"Let's go then" He grinned

We all gathered into the studio and Freddie made a little pep talk before we began. He then proceeded to had them bits of paper with different parts on it while I went and sat on an amp. It was only when John came over that I realised it was his amp. He plugged in his bass and put the strap around his shoulder.

"Have you seen this?" John asked as he showed me the stack of notes Freddie had given him

"He only told me the title." I said before reading through the papers, "Wow. I mean, if you can pull it off it will be incredible"

"Are you doubting our musical ability?" John teased

"I am not!" I gave him a playful smack on the arm

"Break it up love bugs!" Freddie hollered. I shot him a death glare and John took a few steps away from me with the reddest face I've ever seen. Freddie is the worst at keeping secrets, why did I tell him?

"Come on, let's start otherwise this hour long song won't ever be finished" Brian commented

"You can't bloody talk! We literally did that Prophet song last week!" Roger screeched

"Yeah Brian!" I teased

"Alright I get it. Abuse Brian day" Brian chuckled

"Love you really" I gave him a smack to the back of the head as I walked past him

"He probably didn't even feel that with all of that hair" Roger muttered

"Probably not!" I laughed

"Darlings please can we start?" Freddie said, sounding a bit fed up with our antics

With that, we actually began to get some work done. I can tell this song is going to take a while to record, especially with Freddie's perfectionist traits.
