For once at college, I am happy. That's because I'm walking home and it's my last day there. I'm officially done with education! My Dad wants me to go to university but I'm really dreading it, I don't want to go there.

My Dad is Jim Beach. He's the manager for Queen. I know he only wants the best for me but with growing up around music, all I want to do is music. I'm kind of scared that he doesn't trust me with the huge responsibility. But I feel like I'm ready, I've been studying all kinds of music now for 2 years.

I saw a bit of a crowd outside my college but I ignored it. I don't have any friends here so I really don't care about any drama or gossip.

"Olivia!" I heard a voice over the crowd

I turned my head to see the familiar mass of curls.

"Brian? What's up?" I pushed through the crowd of fans to get to him

"Your Dad sent me to come and get you. He wants to talk" Brian explained

"Oh, alright" I said as I got in to his car. Being the gentleman he is, Brian held the door open for me

Out of the Queen boys, I was probably closest with Brian. He used to help me with my school work all those years ago. I was also pretty close to Freddie and Roger but I had never spoken to John. I don't know why, we just haven't. I know of him and he knows of me, we just have never spoken before. My Dad doesn't like me hanging around the studio, so I was slightly surprised when Brian came to pick me up. He doesn't want me falling into the 'rockstar habits' if you know what I mean. He trusts Brian, of course, he's not the stereotypical rockstar.

"Last day of college huh?" Brian made conversation

"Yes, freedom awaits" I giggled

"No more school work for me? How disappointing" Brian joked

"I didn't need help all the time!" I defended, "only with science, and maths, and history..."

Brian gave me a smug grin.

"...go away" I mumbled

"You know you love me really" Brian laughed

"Yeah, about that. Anyway, do you know what Dad wants to talk about?" I questioned

"You didn't hear this from me, ok?" Brian frowned a bit

"Uh-huh" I hummed

"He wants to talk about what you want to do now, university or whatever" Brian confessed

"I'm 18! I can make my own decisions!" I ranted

"I know. I think he just wants to make sure you are happy with whatever choice you make" Brian explained

"I suppose" I muttered as I looked out of the window, seeing that we were just arriving at the studio

"Look, I'm 28 and I still don't really know what I'm doing" Brian joked

"It's different for you" I gave him a look, "Oh and by the way, you're writing songs for 'A Night At The Opera', that's what you're doing" I sassed

"Oh yes. How could I forget?" Brian said sarcastically

We walked into the big building, side by side. We went in the lift to the top floor, where Dad's office filled the whole space. Brian got off on the floor before, that's where the rest rooms were. I carried on to the top floor. When the lift opened, I had to walk down a small corridor and knock on the white door.

"Come in" Dad's voice said

I opened up and walked inside. As soon as Dad saw me he stood up with open arms.

"Hey Dad" I smiled

"Hello Olivia my dear" He gave me a warm hug

"You wanted to talk?" I stated rather than questioned

"Yes. Have you had a chance to think about university?" Dad sat back down in his big leather chair as I pulled up a seat to the front of his desk

"I don't want to go. I want to work here, with music. Please Dad" I nearly begged

"In a few weeks, Queen are going to Ridge Farm to do some recording away from the hustle and bustle. You will go with them to basically look after them and organise them" Dad said

"Really?" I said in disbelief

"This will be a test to see if you're up to it. Just because you're my daughter doesn't mean you'll have it easy" Dad gave me a look

"I know. But, are you sure?" I questioned

"No, not really, but if you are sticking around then I better give you some responsibility. And that means looking after Queen for a month" Dad raised both eyebrows as he fiddled with a stack of papers on his desk

"A month?" I gasped

"Don't worry, I'll be there for one day every week" Dad smiled

"Ok" I nodded

"I better properly introduce you to the boys" Dad stood up and I followed him back to the lift

We went down one floor and found the boys in the rest room. Brian was the first to see us.

"Hello!" He called our with a wave

"I've got an announcement" Dad spoke up

The boys all sat down and looked up at us expectingly

"Olivia will be managing you when you are at Ridge Farm. You better be on your best behaviour" Dad said

"Yes Mum" Roger chuckled

"I mean it, she'll be reporting back to me every week" Dad explained

"I can't wait" Brian smiled

"So as you know Liv, that's Brian, Roger, Freddie, and John" Dad pointed along the line of boys

"Nice to be properly introduced, as your manager for a month" I shook their hands. It was a bit of a joke for Brian, Roger, and Freddie as we knew each other well already. However, it was a genuine introduction for me and John. He shook my hand and gave me a small smile.

"Hello" he said just above a whisper

"Hey" I grinned
