Lucy Heartfilia Higurashi was adopted by Higurashi family. She was a same age as Kagome. Her biological mother was died since she was six years old but she never know what happened to her mother and where her grave for.
What Lucy doesn't know that...
Lucy and her companion were walking to find Naraku who was hiding himself. Lucy was sigh don't know how to find Naraku.
Rin notice Lucy's bore face and asking her to get a rest. Lucy was nodded her head agree with Rin. When Sesshomaru allow them, Lucy was thinking about her sword that given by her mother. She look upset that she was get Riko's power on Reisega.
Sesshomaru had sense her sadness making him to see Lucy. Before he saying anything to her, someone was coming to their place. It was Lucy's mother, Kazuhi Riko.
Lucy was shock to see her mother. She quickly stand up and going to face her anyway. Jaken was wonder who is Riko anyway since he don't know her very well.
"Mom, what are you doing here?" Said Lucy hiding her panic. Jaken was shock to hear that from Lucy.'What? Her mother?' Said Jaken who still shock. Sesshomaru was calm to see Riko who look at Lucy.
"I'm come here because I had heard that you not using Reisega. What the reason that you don't want to use it? That Reisega was powerful and can protect you from any danger, Lucy. Do you have a reason about that?" Said Riko calmly.
Lucy have a firm face looking at Riko. "Yeah, I do have a reason. A reason is that I always rely on your power, not mine. It feels like I weak. I want to use my own power, not yours. I'm sorry but I can't rely on your power again." Said Lucy with a little determine.
Riko just let out a sigh before looking at Lucy. "You will regret about that, Lucy. Fine. Talking will useless. We have to fight right now, Lucy." Said Riko firmly to her daughter. Lucy was nodded her head agree to fight her mother anyway.
(Just imagine how Lucy fight her mother)
Timeskip
Lucy has lost in her battle. Her sword, Reisega have broken since Riko using her amazing power to crush the sword split in two.
Lucy was lying on the ground hopeless with a sad face. She feels like she really weak maiden raiden. She was not strong as her mother. Lucy don't know what to do.
Riko just look at Lucy who not move her spot. "You're such idiot. I give you Reisega so it can helping you and protect you from any danger but you was already waste it. Are you really my daughter, Lucy? But I guess that you don't want to rely on my power. Suit of yourself. Let's see if you can be strong without my power, Lucy." Said Riko a little arrogant before she left.
Jaken was angry when hearing of Riko's statement. 'Such arrogant woman. What make she think she is? I know you have already defeat Lady Lucy but that was ungrateful woman! I don't like her even she was Lady Lucy's mother.' Said Jaken with huff in annoyance.
Sesshomaru was going toward Lucy and kneeled down in front of her. "Lucy, are you okay?" Ask Sesshomaru in a gentle tone. Lucy was already get up slowly and face Sesshomaru with her sad face.

"I'm fine, Sesshomaru. Just feel upset since Reisega was broken. I don't know how to repair it. I guess that I'm a weak maiden raiden just like what my mom said." Said Lucy while looking at her knee.
Sesshomaru was huff annoyance before he held her hand. "Don't listen to what she said for. You're not a weak maiden raiden. You more stronger than her. Your losing will make you being stronger than before. Trust me, Lucy. You should trust on yourself. It's okay that you not rely on your mom's power and use your own power. But sometimes rely on another can help you, Lucy." Said Sesshomaru while looking at Lucy.
Lucy was look up at Sesshomaru making her smile. She was relieved that she have Sesshomaru by her side. It was make her feel comfortable when he comfort her.

"Thank you for your comfort, Sesshomaru. I'm so glad about that. So, what should we do about Reisega?" Said Lucy in confuse seeing her sword broken.
Sesshomaru was looking at Lucy before stand up following by Lucy. "I guess that we need to see Totosai. Maybe he can repair your sword anyway." Said Sesshomaru calmly. Lucy just nodded her head before taking Reisega with her. They were walking to the place where Totosai live for.
