It took us about another hour to leave the house and I brought a few things with me so that Jojo won't be bored on the ride. I bought a portable DVD player a few months ago for the long plane rides, so I bought that for Jojo along with some movies that she liked from my collection. I figured she would need something to entertain herself.

"What did you give her?" Le asked about two hours in when he realized that she was really quiet.

"I had a portable DVD at home. I have a collection of cartoons that she liked and I bought them so she could see a few. Something to help her pass the time but we're gonna have to stop at some point, at least to get her something to eat." I told him, answering an email from one of the galleries.

"You are something special, you know that?"

"Why?" I asked, looking up from my phone.

"You just are, you worry about her more than her mom does and we've only been together for a few weeks. She can feel it too, she asked me if you were really gonna move to Orlando for us."

"Of course, someone really smart told me that compromise is the key to any relationship." I said with a smug smile.

"That's a very smart someone who's inspired by an amazing someone else." He replied, kissing my hand.

"So what are you gonna do when you get to Orlando?" I asked.

"Drop you off and go straight to my . . . come with me." he said suddenly.

"Go with you where? Amor, I'm in workout clothes."

"To my parents, come with me, and meet my parents. We can stop at your place and freshen up if you want to. You look beautiful and they won't care what you're wearing. They're really anxious to meet you."

"I think I've seen your dad backstage before but we've never been formally introduced." I told him.

"Come with me lalelei, meet my family."

"I have shopping and gallery things to do."

"I'm sure you can do that tomorrow. We'll get something to eat tonight so you won't have to cook." he smiled, kissing my knuckles.

"Okay, I'll go with you." I replied, smiling at his big smile.

"You're coming with us to see Nana? Yes!" Jojo shouted.

"How long have you been listening back there young lady?" I asked her.

"A little bit." she sheepishly answered.

"Slick, what do you want to eat?" I asked her.

We had fun in 6+ hour drive out here. I don't know how he did this the first time, next time we fly because this is horrible. We made the best of it though and stopped a few times just to stretch and enjoy the scenery. I did make him stop at my apartment to change my clothes because this is not an outfit to meet his parents in.

Going with a casual outfit I pulled out a beige t-shirt with a tan skirt and a pair of beige sandals. I changed quickly after a five-minute shower and walked out of the room in a whirl of nerves and anxiety.
