I woke up early in the morning, took care of the overdue phone calls and emails before leaving to go buy a dress for tonight. I was on and off the phone with all four of my friends until I found the perfect dress for the night.
It was navy blue with thin spaghetti straps, low cut in the front with lace see-through panels on the back. The bottom part of the skirt had a light blue and white floral pattern and a small strip of white see-through fabric that went around the hem of the skirt. I paired the dress with a pair of Jimmy Choo, white heels that I found on the discount rack like a prize!

Jewelry was minimal; my pandora bracelet, bow-shaped ring, and earrings along with a teardrop necklace that my mom got me for my birthday last year. As soon as I got home and put everything together on the bed I took a picture and sent it to the girls, they agreed with me about everything. After I took a shower I stood in my bathroom with Aj and Trinity on speakerphone.
"What are you doing to your hair?" Aj asked and for a second I felt like I was back in high school
"Teased ponytail, side braid wrapped around the hair tie with a few loose pieces around the face." I told them while I worked on it.

"Okay, that works because it'll show off the barely-there back of the dress." she replied.
"Are you nervous?" Trinity asked as I finished the last hair touches and started on makeup.
"A little . . . both of you I'm switching to video."
"Are you naked?" Aj shouted.
"No, I've got my robe on." I told her as I hit a few buttons on the phone.
"Your hair looks so pretty." she cooed.
"Thanks, the wonders of Pinterest my girls."
"What's for makeup?" Trinity asked.
"Nude smokey with a little glitter."
