More Than Just A Kick

Chapter 28

Affair

The original plan was just me, Stephanie and Stephen but because Marsan and Rouge are my bodyguards, they came with me. Marsan and I have been left alone inside the car because Rouge went outside to check the parameters. Marsan is seating on the passenger seat while I am sitting here jn the back seat. I hear my soft breathing while he have been busy texting or chatting somebody. 

I'm curious on who's he have been messaging but I stop myself from looking at his phone. Kasi hanggang ngayon naririnig ko pa ang mga pagtipa niya, and he is smiling from ear to ear. Maybe it's his mother or his father, yes that's right, that's what I should believe.

Never assume, never expect para di ka nasasaktan. My conscience is speaking but I already did kaya nga nasaktan ako ng ilang beses. But I still like him, I couldn't stop. My heart is still beating fast for him; my hypothalamus is still concentrating on him.

My phone beeps, I take it out from my bag. I open it and I just receive a message from Stephanie.

From: Stephanie 

We are already here Ate Française. :)

Nagtipa din ako ng mensahe.

To: Stephanie 

We are here at the basement parking.

I hit send but I supposed to only send it to Stephanie and it was send to Stephen, too. Why are they gave a same name? I was confused.

From: Stephen

Babe, we are in the basement too. I can see Rouge roaming around the parking lot. I'll wait for you to come out. :*

I can't stop not to roll my eyes on his message.

From: Stephanie 

Oh, my kuya is blushing. He was like,"My babe texted me." You huh! I know this is a secret but I am naiinggit na sa inyo. I want to spread this news, but as I promised I will kept my mouth shut. ;)

Mabilis akong nagtipa ng mensahe para kay Stephanie ngunit biglang pumasok ang pinsan ko sa kotse na ikinatigil ko sa pagtitipa.

"I already checked the whole place. Its' safe, cuz." He giggles like he is more excited than Stephanie. "Hey, why are you both busy with your phones? Ang tahimik niyo talagang dalawa!"

I hear a knock from my window. Steph and Anie are in front of my window, waving their hands as I open the window.

"Huwag ka nang mag-reply sakin, nasa harap mo na ako." Stephen whispers.

I just gave him a poker face.

WE ARE IN THE DEPARTMENT STORE of the mall. Stephanie giggles, she holds pairs of white shoes, red high heels, black stilettos and  blue flat shoes.

"Oh, here they are. Cuz, I invited them." Turo niya sa dalawang maangas na parang model na naglalakad palapit sa amin. Dahil sa kanila, nabitawan ni Stephanie ang kanyang mga hawak na sapatos.

"Mag-sha-shopping lang pala yang si Stephanie bakit kasama pa tayong lahat?" Nakangising pang-aasar ni Jonel.

"Oh. And then why are you here?"

Yung mga sapatos na napili kanina ni Stephanie ay dumagdag na sa mga bitbit ni Stephen ngayon. I don't want him to see that I pity him, kaya iniwas ko agad ang tingin ko.

"Ininvite nga ako ng pinsan nito. Ulit-ulit, di makagets." Naka-activate na naman ang pang-asar mode ni Jonel. Lihim akong napailing-iling sa aking isipan.

"Nagets ko naman. Pero ako ang mag-sa-shopping, hindi ikaw kaya alis. Go away, Jonel!" Pagtataboy niya kay Jonel na may pasimpleng paghawak sa chest nito.
