"I'm ready to face you," the boy said quietly.
"Shouldn't you wait a little longer?" Amaya appeared at his shoulder. "You know, for the Eclipse?"
"The Eclipse is any minute now," Zuko answered. "I need to do this now."
"Okay."
He hesitated, looking over to her. "Stay with me?"
"Always."
He pushed open the door and walked forward. A line of guards with spears stood in front of Ozai, sipping a steaming cup of tea when he recognized his son.
"Prince Zuko, what are you doing here?"
