We trudged into town. Some of us more urgently than others. Muteki looked almost frantic in his search for the girls.

"Where do you think they might be?" Sokka asked.

"The street is empty," I commented.

"Where do you think everyone is?" Aang countered.

"Just shut up and search," Muteki had gotten so desperate that he had turned to opening barrels to peer inside.

I felt a tingle on the back of my neck. Like, you know that feeling when someone is watching you? I dropped into a stance and reached out with my feelings.

"Watch out!" Aang called.

I pushed outwards with my chi as an explosion rocked around me. The blast refracted around me as I shielded the others.

"Sparkles is here!" I called.

"That name really doesn't suit him," Sokka called, running for cover.

Muteki lifted a short wall, and we took cover.

"I really like this village," I grinned. "I once dreamed of living in a place like this."

"Really?" Muteki asked. "Because this is a bit of a nightmare for me. Did you see what we're up against?"

"Yes, but it is really pretty," I let it hang.

"It's a trap!" he growled.

"Oh!" I racked my head. "I know this one..."

I got a confused look from the giant.

"Akbar from Star Wars!"

"Correct, but not what I was going for," Muteki sighed. "The girls were the bait to lure us out."

"Oh, true."
