"Are we there yet!" Brett asked
"No Brett, for the final time" Mercedees said
We were about 5 hours out of Montana. We were heading to Oregon to find and take down Delacroix, but for me, I was going to kill him. Make him suffer for taking Rick away from me, I was going to rip his fucking throat out!!
"Abby!!" Mercedees cried
"Huh?" I said, getting pulled away from my thoughts
"You were breathing really heavily, are you okay?" Mercedees asked
"...Not really" I said
"Well, we're about 3 hours out from Idaho. We can rent a hotel for the night, hopefully, we can continue this journey in the morning" Mercedees said
"Alright." I said
The rest of the ride was a quiet one after Mercedees and I talked. We eventually made it to Idaho, and into the city of Boise. The city was a beautiful sight to see in the night, with all the bright lights everywhere. We made it to our hotel and made our way inside.
"Well...I'll see you in the morning Mercedees" I said
"Yeah, good night" Mercedees said
I made my way inside my room and shut the door behind me. The room was what you'd expect from a hotel. Pre-made beds, Tv with cable, and all the other stuff. I take off Rick's hoodie and hung it up in the closet. Fatigue finally took over me, making my way over to the bed I collapsed into bed. Trying to go to sleep.
"But I can't..." I said to myself
I felt tired but my mind wouldn't let me go to sleep. I got up and walked over to the closet. I saw Rick's hoodie, some swimming trunks, and girl swimwear.
"I should go for a swim, maybe that will clear my mind" I said to myself
I took out the swimwear and left my room and into the cold hallway. It looked like everyone was asleep, I checked the time and it was about 11:45 at night, so I went quietly down the hall and out the back. The pool looked really nice at night, and not only was there a pool, but there was also a hot tub too. I went into a secluded area and changed into the swim gear, and coincidentally it was a perfect fit, so with that being said, I got into the hot tub. It felt really nice against my legs as I sunk into the warm pool.
"Wow! this feels really great..." I sighed
I heard the door open from behind me and I turned around, It was Jessica, she was also in a swimsuit
"I would assume that you couldn't sleep either?" Jessica asked
"Yeah" I responded
"Is it about Dash?" Jessica asked
"No, I think it's due to us being so close to Delacroix again" I said
"Come on Abby, we manage to beat him before. We can do it again" Jessica said
"That was with Rick around." I said
"Look I know Dash helped us get this far, how about we finish the job for him. Let's make him proud"
"Yeah...let's do that" I said, looking off into the night sky
"Well...we better try getting some sleep, we're going to need it" Jessica said
"Yeah" I said
We both got out of the pool and went back into the hotel. I said goodnight to her and headed into my room, I took off the swimsuit and put back on my clothes again. Making my way to the bed, I laid down and fell asleep.
