nagkamatinding writer's block po kasi ako.

Chapter 17
SYDNEY'S POV
Buong araw, wala akong ginawa kundi ang tumingin sa relo.
Nagring na yung bell pero yung prof namin wala pa yatang balak magpalabas.
Nakakabadtrip.
Wala rin naman akong naiintindihan sa mga sinasabi niya.
At after million years at feeling ko halos maubos na ang laway nung prof namin, sa wakas pinalabas na kami.
Pagkasabing pagkasabi ng word na dismissed, dali dali akong nag-ayos ng gamit at lumabas ng room.
Hindi naman halatang excited ako diba?
Hindi ko na nga rin inintay yung dalawa kasi panay ang pangungulit sakin na magbar daw kami.
Kahapon na nagyayaya ako, ayaw nila. Tapos ngayon na may mas importante akong gagawin, saka naman nila ako yayayain.
Kaya tinakasan ko na sila.
Baka kasi hilahin na lang nila ako bigla at kidnappin.
NO WAY! Hindi ako papayag na may humadlang ngayong araw na to.
Kahit sino or ano pa man yan. Mapabusiness o kaya kahit yang Michelle na yan pa.
Good Vibes ako ngayon kahit medyo nabadvibes na dahil late na kami pinauwi.
Ewan ko pero parang may magandang mangyayari kasi ngayon.
I was half-jogging sa hallway hanggang sa makalabas ng building
Medyo madilim na kasi halos magseseven na pero hindi pa rin nakaligtas sa mga mata ko si Andrei who was leaning on his car and was waiting for me.
I was smiling at him as I approach him. He on the other hand returned the smile and walked towards me.
Nung nagsalubong kami, he immediately kissed the top of my head. And I can't help myself from grinning from ear to ear.
"Tara na." I said to him and held his hand.
Medyo nagulat pa siya sa ginawa ko pero later on, mas hinigpitan pa niya yung hawak nya sa kamay ko.
We walked towards his car and he was about to open the door when we heard someone call my name.
"SYDNEY!"
When I heard that voice, gustong gusto ko ng hilahin si Drei sa sasakyan at umalis na kami.
Pero I had no choice pero harapin siya. I mean SILA.
"Wow. Sweet niyo ha. Holding hands pa!" sabi ni Kayla.
Actually, hindi niya sinabi yun, she SCREAMED it! For Goodness Sake! Napatingin tuloy yung ibang dumaraan sa min.
Nakakahiya talaga si Kayla kahit kelan.
Drei, on the other hand, just smiled at them.
"Kaya pala gustong gusto mo nang umuwi Sydney ha." Tricia teasingly screamed.
Seriously, nakakahiya na talaga sila.
"Wag mo masyadong pagurin si Sydney ha Andrei!" sigaw ulit ni kayla.
Nanlaki naman ang mga mata ko sa sinabi niya.
Tiningnan ko agad si andrei and he was grinning shyly. Maamaze sana ako dahil ang cute ng expression niya pero lumamang yung hiyang nararamdaman ko dahil medyo marami na ang nakikinig sa sigaw nung dalawa.
"SHUT UP! Nakakahiya kayo!" sigaw ko sa kanila pabalik.
Then the both of them burst out laughing. Parang tuwang tuwa silang napipikon ako. Kainis!
"Relax ka lang Sydney! Ingat na lang kayo ni Andrei!" sigaw ulit ni Tricia. "Siguraduhin niyong may mabubuo ha!"
Namula naman ako sa huling sinabi niya.
OH MY GOD!
Seriously, nakakahiya na ang mga nangyayari.
Napansin na yata ni Drei kung gaano ako nafrufrustrate kasi nagpaalam na siya sa dalawa.
"Ah Girls, mauna na kami ha." he said to them
Then binuksan na niya yung pinto ng passenger seat at pinapasok ako.
Pero bago pa man ako makapasok, narinig ko na namang sumigaw si Kayla.
"Ingat kayo! Galingan niyo mamaya ha!"
Nung nakaupo na ko ng ayos, binaba ko agad ang bintana and shout at them.
"Shut Up! Mahiya naman kayo!"
Tapos tinaas ko na ulit yung window pero I still saw them laughing.
Tss.
Sakto namang pumasok si Drei sa kotse and started the engine.
but before siya magdrive, he pulled me close and planted a kiss on my forehead and smiled genuinely at me. I smiled back.
Buti na lang tinted yung sasakyan at hindi nakita nung dalawa yung nangyayari. For sure, mas gugulo yung dalawang yun.
When he started driving, i looked back at Kayla and Tricia. they were both waving goodbye na may nakakalokong ngiti plastered on their faces.
Napangiti na lang ako. One hell of a kind friends.
Buong biyahe, we were both silent. Medyo awkward pa nga e. Sino ba namang hindi maiilang after what Kayla and Tricia had both said.
Kaya nung nakauwi kami, I was actually a bit relieved kasi I had a reason to break the silence.
"Ah Drei, I'll just change my clothes then we can go wherever we will go." I said.
Okay. That sounded like a lyric from a song.
"It's fine. Dito lang naman tayo sa bahay." sabi niya
"What?" I asked, sounding confused.
Sa bahay lang kami? Ano namang gagawin namin dito? Don't tell me seseryosohin niya yung sinabi nina Tricia.
"We're staying at home. But if you want, you can change into more comfortable clothes.It would be better." he said and hold me by my waist and lead me inside our house.
Once I stepped inside, I noticed a different ambiance. Parang ang romantic ng feeling.
Tinitingnan ko pa rin ang buong bahay when Drei spoke.
"Did you like it?" he asked
"I love it!" I said excitedly.
Who would not love a house lit only by candles. Kaya pala medyo madilim sa labas. Nakapatay kasi lahat ng ilaw and ang nagbibigay liwanag lamang ay galing sa mga scented candles na nakasindi.
Even the aroma I can smell from those scented candles added to the romantic feeling.
"Sige na Syd. Akyat ka na and change your clothes. Magpalit ka ng pantulog."he said
"Pantulog? Bakit? Hindi pa tayo nagsisimula, matutulog na agad?" I asked cluelessly
Diba dapat pagbihisin niya ako ng maganda para magmatch ang prinepare niyang dinner?
"It's fine. Dalawa lang naman tayo and it would totaly be better kung nakapajamas ka lang." he said.
"Okay. I'll be right back." I said at inalis ko yung kamay niya sa waist ko and I hurriedly run toward my room.
When I got to my room, I didn't bother to take a shower. Nagpalit na agad ako ng damit.
I changed into my comfy cotton pajamas and a sando. Sinuot ko rin yung pambahay kong tsinelas na may bunny design
Pero bago ako lumabas, I washed my face and checked myself in the mirror.
Okay. Maganda pa rin.
Nung nakasiguro akong sobrang ganda ko talaga, I went out of my room at dumiretso sa may kitchen.
nakita ko si Andrei na nagpreprepare ng table. Nakapajamas lang din siya and was wearing a the shirt we bought last time and he was barefoot.
Pero kahit hindi siya nakaporma, I have never seen someone as beautiful as him.
Nung napansin niya na nakatingin lang ako sa kanya, lumapit siya sakin.
And from the corner of my eye, nakita kong kinuha niya yung boquet of blue roses and inabot niya sakin.
Blue roses. My favorite.
I smiled at him with my eyes reflecting how happy I am.
"You look stunning as ever." he said and planted a long kiss on my forehead.
It was the kind of kiss I'll never forget. It may not be on the lips but for me it was better than any other kiss.
"come. I know you're hungry," he said again and hold my hand and guide me to my seat.
I see so many food in the table. All of them are my favorite.
When we were both seated, I realized something funny.
"Drei, don't you think it's weird, having a pajama party during a very romantic dinner date?" I told him
He chuckled before saying, "I find it cute actually. Imagine, tayo lang yata ang gumawa ng ganito. We are unique in our own way."
I smiled at him.
"Thank you" I said out of the blue. hindi ko alam pero I feel like thanking him.
"For what? I haven't even given you my surprise." he said
"Surprise? Can I have it now?" I said. Surprises are my weakness.
"Haha. You choose kung anung gusto mong mareceive na una, yung ginawa ko or yung binili ko?" he said
Wow. This means I'll receive more than one. Exciting
"I'll choose yung ginawa mo." I said
There is no doubt na mas gusto kong unang makuha yung pinaghirapan niya.
"Okay. But I need you to close your eyes." he said
I did what he said
When my eyes were closed, naramdaman kong tumayo siya from his seat. But only after few seconds, bumalik din siya. He placed something on the table.
"Open your eyes." he told me
A crease in my forehead formed when I looked at the thing on the table.
When I looked at him, he was just smiling at me.
"What's this?" I asked
"Open it." he said
Kinuha ko yung pinapabuksan niya.
And when I opened it, I almost want to throw up.
"I don't like this." I said
"Tikman mo lang."
Nagtataka siguro kayo kung anu yung surprise niya.
It was no other than the ampalaya we bought.
He cooked it and placed it in a lunch box.
I would have appreciated it if only it wasn't ampalaya.
"sige na. Tikman mo." he said urging me to eat it.
He stand up from his seat and went to my side.
He placed rice on my plate and naglagay rin siya nung ibang ulam before he put the ampalaya on my plate.
The smile I see from his face gave me the strenght to eat it.
And it wasn't as bad as I expected.
Hindi siya sobrang mapait. It suits my taste.
"How is it?" Drei asked while returning to his seat.
"It's better than fine. I like it." I said and smiled at him wholeheartedly.
Really, it was the best ampalaya I ever taste, not that I have already eaten ampalaya before but this is the best.
"I told you." he said "Anyway, this is my next surprise for you."
Tumayo ulit siya and may kinuha. Pagbalik niya, may dala ulit siyang lunchbox and a Mcdonalds plastic.
He placed both on the table.
He opened the lunchbox and I saw french fries inside it. And then inilabas niya yung nasa loob nung plastic na puro catsup ng Mcdo. ang daming catsup, I think it was more than a dozen.
"I know these fries and these catsups are your addictions so I bought some." he said
"Oh my god!" I said and I wasn't able to help myself from going to him and hugging him.
"I've been craving for these." I said while still hugging him.
"But, you must eat first what I cooked before you can eat those."
"Okay." I said and went back to my seat
We started eating and we just kept on talking.
He was also kind of disgusted with how I eat because I was putting catsup on my rice and on the ampalaya and then sasabayan ko ng fries.
And I was forcing him to take a bite on my food which he wanted to refuse but wasn't able to.
His face when he ate it was kind of funny. Parang natatae siya na hindi. Hahaha.
My food may not sound edible but it was the best food I ever tasted.
Maybe it was because I was with someone I really want to be with.
When we were both done and both us are already full he suddenly said.
"I have another gift for you."
"Drei, its enough. I'm happy already." I said
"But I would be happier if you accept this." he said and may kinuha siya from his pockets.
It was a red velvet box and I kind of have a clue on what is inside. I just don't know what we will do with it.
He opened the box and I saw two rings. Our wedding rings.
"Well, you gave me back this ring right after our wedding. I want us to wear it starting now. Is that alright with you?" he said
I nodded and I wasn't able to stop my tears from flowing
Then I saw him get his ring and put it on his left ring finger then kinuha niya yung left hand ko and kissed it before placing the ring on it.
"Thank you." he said and kissed my hand agaid before standing up to hug me.
I hugged him back.
"Ang dami mong gift. Tapos ako walang binigay sayo." I said
"It's fine. You are more than enough." he said
Then I realized I do have a gift for him. The watch I brought him.
At bago pa magbago ang isip ko na ibigay sa kanya yun, kumalas ako sa pagkakayakap niya and run towards my room.
"Wait there. I'll just get something." I said to him while running.
And I left him there looking confused.
Pagkarating ko sa room ko, I immediately pulled my drawer at inilabas ko yung paperbag na pinaglalagyan nung relo.
The paperbag was a bit crumpled but I didn't care.
Suddenly, the thought of giving him something excites me.
Tumakbo ako pabalik sa may kusina and nakita ko siya na nakatayo pa rin sa same place na pinag-iwanan ko sa kanya.
"Here." I told him and extended my hand to him to give him my gift.
"What's this?" he asked
"A gift." I said
"You didn't have to get me one."
"But I want to give you a gift. Just open it."
And he did open it.
When he saw what was inside I said "I know na meron kang bagong relo but I want you to wear it even once in a while."
"I'll wear it everyday." he said and pulled me into an embrace
"Pero pano yung isa mong relo?" I asked. Sayang rin kasi yun.
"Napilitan kasi akong tanggapin yon. Nakakahiya kasing tanggihan pero I like this one much much better. Ikaw ba pumili nito?" he said
"Yes. I think it suits you well kaya binili ko." I said
"Even if it doesn't suit me, I'll still wear it." he said and kissed the top of my head "Thank you. I liked it."
"I'm glad you liked it. Tara na, ligpitin na antin yung pinagkainan natin" I said at humiwalay ako sa yakap niya pero hindi ko binitawan yung kamay niya.
I was about to pull him but instead he pulled me and we were face to face, only inches apart.
He touched my cheek with his free hand and tightens the hold on my hand
"Is there a problem Drei?" I asked
"Syd, I - I - I love you." pagkasabi niya nun, he closed his eyes.
He was waiting for my response and it was as if what I will said will kill him.
I didn't know what to say but I was happy with what he said and at that moment, I knew my answer.
I touched his face and the contact I made with him made him open his eyes and look directly at me.
"I looked at his eyes and smiled before saying, "I love you too."
Then I closed my eyes and closed the gap between us to kiss him.
It took him a second to respond but eventually, he took the lead
We kissed gently but became more aggressive as it became deeper.
I was lost with his kiss.
It was the first time we kissed on the lips but I can say that it felt so right. It was as if a part of me became whole.
We parted to catch our breath.
And when I opened my eyes, I saw him staring at me. His eyes reflecting the smile I have on my lips.
And suddenly, I was shy. I was the one who made the first move.
"I love you Sydney Angeles Sanchez." he said and suddenly I wasn't shy anymore so I kissed him again.
I kissed him as if my life depends on it.
And I broke the kiss just to say, "I love you too Andrei."
