When Rin and you started dating, you clicked better than anyone ever thought you would. There was some struggle and a few dumb arguments about things here and there, since the two of you were relatively new with the whole dating world, but you got familiar and comfortable with each other quickly. Some people told you that you might be moving to fast, but you found you just couldn't help it - it's like your mind moved on it's own. You spoiled the shit out of Rin and he loved you more than you thought anyone could love anyone.

When you met Rin's brother and his other friends officially, you were extremely nervous.  You tried to play it off cool, and managed to get along with the most of them, but when you met Shiemi things kind of shifted.
Rin had told you about how he used to like her, and you couldn't help but notice her cute and sweet nature, especially how large her breasts were. You felt self conscious for a moment, wondering if maybe Rin would rather bigger breasts, and even though you told yourself that that was a dumb thought, you couldn't help but be a little jealous.
I mean, of course Rin would fall for such a sweet girl like her. You thought.
You glanced at your boyfriend as he giggled with the other boys, probably asking questions about your sex life - which one, didn't concern them in any way what-so-ever. Also, you hadn't even had sex yet, the closest you've gotten to anything is Rin fingering you under your panties and you giving him a hand job once.
His hickey's were pretty hard to cover up, though, you've gotten used to wearing collared shirts.
"Is that a hickey, Rin?!" Shima blurted, and you sighed, Rin liked to show off everything for some reason.
"Yeah." He replied, a weird smug look on his face.
You rolled my eyes, jeez.

After your one year anniversary 'date' that somehow went from heading to a fancy dinner to running into a carnival and eating candy for dinner, Rin and you were cuddled up in his dorm - his brother away on some mission.
"You know, I still haven't met your parents." He began, running his hands through your hair.
You hummed, too lost in his touch to really reply with any seriousness. You had actually tried to avoid telling your parents about Rin - they were insanely religious and would probably opt to kill him when they found out he was the son of Satan.
"Why?" He asked.
You sighed, knowing he wasn't going to drop it, you rose up from the bed and looked into his eyes, "Rin... you know my parents."
"Yeah, you've told me about how strict they are, but-"
You shook your head, "I hate to say it, I really do..." You frowned, placing with your hand on his cheek and caressing his skin with your thumb as he stared at me, knowing what you were going to say but waiting to hear it.
"They will... they will only try and tear us apart." You whispered, "They would hate you, Rin."
"How do you know that, though? Maybe if they met me!"
You held your solemn expression, you couldn't be 100 percent sure, but I knew for 95 percent how they would automatically retaliate just because of what's in his blood. The things that could come out of their mouths, how they would curse him and call him a monster, how they would tell you he was manipulating you...
"I won't let them, Rin. I won't take any chances in letting them verbally and possibly physically abuse you until you leave me or I leave you. I won't let them hurt us." You sucked in a shaking breath and Rin swallowed hard, bringing me back down in a tight hug.
"I'm sorry our anniversary ended like this." He said sadly.
"No, I had so much fun with you..." You sniffed.
"Let me meet your parents." He urged on, "I know you want to protect me, but I can protect you too. I won't let them tear us apart no matter what! But they have to know."
"Alright."

A plate smashed as your mothers mood went from joyful to horrified at the fact of what Rin was instead of who he was. At first she was cheerful, mumbling on about grandchildren and how you had finally found someone. She was going to put a slice of pie on a plate, but now the pie was untouched on the counter and the plate was in broken shards on the tile floor.
"Hes... what?"
"Rin is the biological son of satan, mom. He's... a half breed. Dad talks about them sometimes."
"Your father never mentioned a son of satan!"
"He never mentioned a son of satan because he knew you would freak out like this! Rin may have demon in his blood but his heart is human like ours!" You exclaimed.
"Are you serious?! Out of all the men in the world, you chose a fucking demon boy!"
"Mom!" You hissed, clenching your fists. Rin stood slightly behind me in silence, you had asked him to be quiet for the most part.
"I won't let this go on. Wait till your father hears about this."
"Actually," Rin began, "I already told him."
You snapped your head over to him, eyes wide, "I told him a while ago, actually. When we first starting dating."
"How long have you been dating?" Your mother asked, seemingly calmer for now.
"A year." Rin answered, "But anyway, when I told him, he just slapped me really hard on the shoulder and told me to treat her as best as I could. And I have. I've done the best I could for a year and I'm ready to do even better for many more years to come."
"Rin..." You muttered.
My mother huffed, "I can't believe this. Fine, you go on and be together, it's not like I can tell you other wise."
Rin and you shared a glance before turning and making way for the front door to leave, a slight success in the defeat of hoping for a good reaction.
"It won't last anyways."
You froze at your mothers words, clenching your teeth you decided you'd had enough, turning, you glared down at the woman who cleaned up the mess she made,
"Fucking watch us."
