~~~ Wanted to publish this earlier with Chapter 17, but I had to do homework. Sorry about that. Hope you enjoy this chapter, and have a great day. ~~~
He then grabbed his sword and mounted his horse, both of which were highly expensive, and, alone, he charged towards Cao Cao's main camp. How dare Xun Yu leave me for him! Does he honestly think that he can escape me?! I will bring him back to serve me after removing Cao Cao's head from his shoulders! His soldiers shook their heads in disapproval. They all knew that Yuan Shao was being foolish and letting his emotions get the best of him, but they all remained silent, lest they risk death for any objection to their Lord's behavior. As Yuan Shao rushed to Cao Cao's camp, he sliced through enemy after enemy until he finally arrived at his destination. The guards drew their weapons, yelling at Yuan Shao to leave, and Cao Cao came out to see what was going on. Once he saw Yuan Shao's displeased and angry face, he smiled and laughed while signaling for his guards to stand at ease.
"Oh, did you enjoy the show? I hope you're here to surrender, I would hate to kill anymore of your troops. They would all be much better off working for me." Cao Cao said, taunting Yuan Shao and earning a glare from him.
"I wouldn't get cocky. This small victory of yours is all thanks to Xun Yu, I suggest that you give him back to me." Yuan Shao stated, his voice dripping with malice.
Cao Cao's demeanor instantly changed, and he glared at the man. "Are you daft? I would never give him back to you, not after what you did to him. Besides, why would I give you my Zifang? You are truly a fool if you thought that I would return him to you after everything you put him through. Now, surrender and accept your defeat, or face death at my hands."
"You impudent wretch!" Yuan Shao yelled, quickly dismounting his horse and stomping his foot. "You would dare to compare Xun Yu to Zhang Liang, the man who helped Liu Bang establish the Han Dynasty?! Have you no shame?!"
"Xun Yu is a genius, a gorgeous one at that, and he deserves every ounce of praise that he is given. But I don't expect you to understand that. After all, I still remember how he came to me that day, bruised and battered. He told me about how cruel you were to him, such a sweet and innocent man, I felt an instant attraction to him and I held him close to me as he cried. He was so upset, and I vowed then that I would protect him from you. His sadness left a permanent impression on me, and it baffled me, outraged me, that you treated an absolutely divine human being in such a way. You hurt him! Do you know what that feels like, to have someone abuse you?!"
Yuan Shao fumed with rage. Who was this commoner to tell him how he should act, or lecture him about morals? But he might have a point. I don't remember how the abuse started, but I remember getting drunk one night and having a little harmless fun with him. He didn't want to do it, but I forced myself on him. But that fun lead to more, and I would hit him, torture him, and yell hurtful things at him after that. I would force him to fuck me, but who wouldn't want that? I am nobility after all. Yuan Shao pulled his sword out of its scabbard. Curse you Cao Cao! You arrogant wretch! I will kill you for trying to condemn me! He then lunged at Cao Cao, hoping to injure or kill him; however, he was surprised when Cao Cao dodged the attack. The man then unhappily sighed and pulled out his own sword.
"Do we really have to do this? I would rather not fight you," Cao Cao said, causing Yuan Shao to freeze. The man then smirked as a dark energy filled the air, and an uneasy feeling settled in Yuan Shao's stomach. "Actually, that's a lie. I want to rip you apart for hurting Xun Yu, but I don't want to get your tainted blood on my hands. Do you have any suggestions?"
Yuan Shao grit his teeth in annoyance and anger. "You are truly insufferable! I don't see what Xun Yu sees in a man like you, while I, on the other hand, have everything that he could ever dream of." Yuan Shao stated, confused as to why anyone wouldn't like him.
