Taking hold of the drawing sheet, she curiously examines it.
Nothing.
THE DRAWING PAPER
The paper suddenly radiates the dragon's living light along with the evanescent forks of fire, and magical shapes and symbols...
MARIA
Maria's reaction is one of stunned surprise, blinded by the light. She shuts her eyes.
THE LIVING LIGHT
We see the light's energy bursts erase Maria's environment, simultaneously supplanting it with the world of fairy tales before the dragon crossed over.
Maria opens her eyes, and...
EXT. NEVERTOON - TIMELESS
...finds herself on her bed in Nevertoon.
She has to cup her mouth with her hand to keep herself from screaming.
MARIA: Oh, my God...
Maria sees the Miluna, Roku and the world of fairy tales.
MARIA: Fairy tales...now I remember what Flip was trying to tell me.
And she sees the past happen right before her very eyes.
(NOTE: We see everything in the flashback like a cinema verite documentary.)
