The falling of Earthly objects stops. But the rain shows no let up.
MILUNA
She now looks very weak.
MILUNA: This is all my fault. Had I told Roku about my dark personality, he could have easily burned it away with a single fire-breath. (beat) But I hid it from him...
ROKU: Why?
MILUNA: (she cries) I didn't want him to dislike me...his pure and perfect moon.
ROKU: You are so special, Miluna. I'm sure Roku would have loved you anyway.
MILUNA: I was wrong. I let my dragon down. I let Nevertoon down.
Roku sits on the forehead of the moon, brooding. He has never felt so helpless in his life.
He gently strokes Miluna's surface...
ROKU: I'm sorry, Miluna. I wish I were a real dragon. Then I wouldn't let anything bad happen to you. And to this world. And to...my mother. But I'm just a boy. I have no magic.
Miluna painfully smiles. There is a glint of hope in her eyes.
MILUNA: All magic comes from the heart.
